What actions/traditions/etc. do you regularly perform that set you apart as a neo Pagan? Catholics go to mass, Buddhists meditate, and Muslims have daily prayers, but what do you do?

Is there an afterlife? If so, what is the nature of that afterlife?

You said earlier that you honor/worship/recognize many gods. Care to elucidate? How do you honor them? Do you honor the Abrahamic God or the Christian trinity?

So someone commented there are not enough Non-Catholics. So I decided to start this thread after reading it.

Ask me anything!
Will you be returning from time to time to answer more questions? Are you having a good experience as a member of CAF?

How many tarot decks do you own? Do you have a Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Deck?

Do you believe it can be possible for a Pagan to worship Christ and still be considered a Pagan?

?

Do you believe it can be possible for a Pagan to worship Christ and still be considered a Pagan?
I’m not a neo-pagan, or the person this is directed at, but there are people who call themselves “Christo-pagans” I assume they worship Christ in addition to whatever pagan gods.

I’ve even heard of an “agnostic Wiccan”, and agnosticism is at odds with Wicca.

Thanks for answering all these questions. I like these types of threads.

What religion were / are your parents and did that have an effect on your choice? (assuming they are not Neo-Pagan)

Do you see value in family?

Oh, I hope he comes back! I have a question about communal worship in your church – is it weekly like most Christian churches? What day of the week? Most Wiccans make much of the Solstice – does your church have regular and prescribed Solstice celebrations? Are they fun or solemn or both? Do they feature any traditional foods afterwards (can’t imagine any celebration not having food afterwards), and if so, is the food eaten by the whole group, or do you all go home to do the feasting?

Are your rites and prayers written down? Published?

Do you have any personal rites or prayers that are considered standard? Like our family says Grace before meals communally. Little children learn the Our Father and the Guardian angel prayer before First Communion. Stuff like that that gives our faith cohesion and structure (and a lot of comfort).

Do you plan to marry within your faith and raise your children in the faith?

I will be back just got a new computer after losing my old one. More answers coming!

I don’t mean it in a bad way (your welcome here), but why did you join a catholic forum?? interested in christianity?

Hello. I am a catholic and if I come off as disrespectful I don’t mean it. I was wondering do you actually incorporate saints from catholicism and other religions as your own? I have a neo pagan friend and on her personal altar she had a statue off the Virgin Mary. I said something like “ooh I have a Virgin Mary just like that” to which she said “it’s the mother goddess, not Virgin Mary” is this a regular thing in your faith? Or did my friend just buy a statue that she did not know who it actually was? I am perfectly fine with you worshiping what you want, and I actually think its cool if you incorporate all religions into your own, I just wanted to be sure she was not using this statue in a disrespectful manner.

Our lady of guadalupe, pray for us!
