How come these mosques are only uncovered if someone who is not a muslim discovers them? Why are muslims not stopping this junk?

jihadwatch.org/archives/022506.php

As we see - it is also happening in the USA:
jihadwatch.org/archives/021442.php

The clerics say they will stop their hate preaching - but they do not stop, they continue on.

Oops, and take note - all the ones misunderstanding the word for ‘beating the stuffing out of women’ in these videos!

I’ve met a number of Central Asian Muslims, including a number of Kazakhs, and it’s true that their Islam is more peaceful and less political than the Middle Eastern/Arab counterpart. A lot of them still have a sort of “soviet” mentality in them; Muslims by history, but only nominally in practice (in Kazakhstan, the number of practicing Muslims is only about 55%). One thing that is good to remember is that Kazakhstan’s constitution (1993) forbids religiously-motivated political parties. Also, Sufism is huge in Central Asia. Combine that with the fact that many of the leaders are hold-overs from the communist days, and it’s easy to see why Central Asia is comparatively peaceful.

Other parts of Central Asia are more troubled, though. An ethnic Russian friend of mine from Tashkent, Uzbekistan tells me that the “Europeans” (Russians) and “natives” (Uzbeks and other Turkic peoples native to Uzbekistan) don’t interact at all - they have separate newspapers and stations in their respective languages, Russian “enclaves” where Uzbeks don’t go, separate schools where their kids go to be educated in their own language, etc. This feeds to an “us vs. them” sort of mentality for the terrorists that have plagued Uzbekistan. I asked my friend if any Russians ever learn Uzbek language (he’s a Philologist, so I figured he might have interest in the language matters of his country), and he said that it would be extremely rare. 😦

When you continue, could you then also respond to post #119?

forums.catholic-questions.org/showpost.php?p=4134097&postcount=119

I think it’s the second time I’ve asked for a response, and I’m starting to think you’re deliberately ignoring me…
and allow me to add mine again:

God says in both OT and NT that His words stand for ever. It is this point am interested in because i know exactly well what you will write later and you did So you are presenting an argument, and i am presenting an argument…we need to see if the Islamic claim is sound, either historically or theologically…so who was it who said that God’s words stand forever in both OT (written by Jews) and NT (by Christians)? men or God?

a- if it were men, WHY did God allow men to say He is serious about His words when He was not previously but decided to take responsibility after realizing His first technique has failed?

b- how does He expect us to believe in Muhammad who opposed all scriptures when He allowed men to write that His words are pure like gold standing for ever?

c- How do you reconcile this claim with God’s Holiness, Justice and Omnipotence?

Please try to give some deep theological arguments…answers like God did not know humans will corrupt His words so he woke up after thousands of years and took responsibility is a fairy tale that children will reject.

It’s a good argument, inJESUS, but I wouldn’t hold your breath while awaiting an answer. I posted something very similar three days ago and didn’t get a response. Reposted it again yesterday, still no response.

I thought this thread was “Ask about Islam”, not “Ask about Islam until we don’t like your question so we’ll ignore it and answer someone else’s instead”. I’m glad Muslim Woman started this thread, but I’m disappointed by the answers I’ve seen so far, as well as those I haven’t seen.

well i give credit to the OP for responding to many questions…it takes time …but my question is very fundamental in determining the attributes of the deity preached in Islam. We all know that Muslims are quick to answer in the same way " humans were supposed to preserve scriptures but failed so Allah decided to step in finally"…yet they all seem to repeat it without thinking about it, and without realizing how childish this answer is, and how much it underdmines the Holiness, Omnipotence and Justice of God…it undermines all the Wisdom and Glory of God i’d say.

I hope so too. Your daughters deserve the best of mankind and I hope they are blessed with many children to make you a happy grandmother!
Thank you R_not 🙂 God bless you for your kind words.

Agreed on all counts, friend. Hopefully Muslim Woman will get to us eventually.

Salaam/peace;
Angels are made of light , satan is made of fire. Iblis/ satan/ devil is a Jinn. He lived with angels .
But if Allah gave a command to only angels and Satan is not an angel, then Allah is unjust for blaming Satan for not obeying the command Allah gave only to angels. It will not do to invoke Tagleeb because to do so would be to commit the fallacy of false analogy; see answering-islam.org/Quran/Contra/iblis.html.
Angels have no free will & can’t disobey God .
St. Job, inspired by the Holy Spirit, says [Job 4:18], “In His angels He found wickedness.” It belongs to the dignity of man to have free will. The angels have more dignity than men, so they have free will too. Wherever exists an intellect there exists free will, and since angels are subsistent intelligences, they have free will. Angels, before they were confirmed in beatitude, had the ability to disobey God; i.e. an angel can sin considered in his own created nature but a good angel does not sin considering the gift of grace which God bestowed him.
In paradise , it won’t harm people . They won’t become drunk , no headache etc. So , it will be allowed there.
It is impossible that the saints will drink wine for pleasure, because drinking wine solely for pleasure is in this life mortally sinful, and the life of the saints is more orderly than the present life. Pleasure is not the end of wine drinking, but wine drinking is the end and purpose of the pleasure of that activity.{1} The saints do not seek bodily pleasures because they are already happy; i.e. they have achieved their last end which is the vision of God as He eternally is. Affirming that the saints will drink wine for pleasure in Paradise leads to any number of absurd conclusions, e.g. that man has multiple last ends, man’s happiness consists in some bodily pleasure, man’s happiness consists in some sensitive operation, or man’s happiness consists in some created good, all of which are effectively disproved in Prima Secundæ Partis of the Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas @ newadvent.org/summa/2.htm.

{1} Aquinas, St. Thomas. Summa Contra Gentiles, 4:83 @ www2.nd.edu/Departments/Maritain/etext/gc4_83.htm.
may God bless us in this life & the hereafter , Amen.
May God make us both humble, loving, and blessed servants of His Catholic Church. Amen.

No. In Islam the recommended way is the consensus or majority opinion of knowledgable scholars and experts.
What if the majority opinion interprets the quran as instructions from God to fight and subjugate non-muslims until the only religion is islam? What if the majority are extremists by western standards?

Yeah - my question too.

Historically we have seen ebbs and flow in violence from islam. It only takes a few nuts to start up the radicalism - as it started up in the early 1920s.

Usually it takes a government, secular in nature, to control the violence coming from muslims. And a note from dzheremi talks about that. We saw that in Turkey for many years too - and it just took more of a percentage of muslims in Turkey to now put that in jeopardy.

I look at islam as being a virus. Within islam is the seeds for violence - contained in the koran and hadiths - and once it has gained in numbers to a point where they have voted in their own, started practicing sharia law and demand and intimidate others to change such things as segregation (under the guise of modesty while it is because we are considered dirty!) and their demands that we do not discuss islam (as they are now demanding in the UN) and intimidate and threaten anyone who disagrees with them and gets things censored, infiltrate their ‘fairy tales’ of what islam is and its history so our children become ignorant of islam’s history of violent imperialism, etc.

See my signature website. We might see several families of muslims and conclude they are peaceful - but it only takes one or two of their children to want to do jihad. And we see that phenomenon too - ‘sudden jihad syndrome’. The USA is uncovering that many muslims are sending their children to schools in Pakistan. The same place saudi arabia uses as a training ground for jihadists.

here are some websites where I get my updated news from:

UN banning freespeech in regards to islam and human rights.
islaminaction08.blogspot.com/2008/08/un-bans-criticism-of-islam.html

teaching children to hate in Fairfax VA. jihadwatch.org/archives/021442.php

I have a whole series on the ties between the MSA (muslim student association) in our colleges having ties to the muslim brotherhood that Arafat, bin Laden, wahabbism, Zawahiri, hamas, hezbollah, etc - all have ties to.

I won’t post that unless you want it.

Right now, Europe and our own government, has warned us that there will be an increase in jihadist attacks of the nature on much lower scales than 9/11. Probably more along the line of what is happening in the Philippines and India. They have recently caught some more jihadists in the UK planning such things - just this week. (peruse jihadwatch.org for recent news)

We mostly don’t hear about it because of our medias. In Europe they don’t use the word ‘muslim’, and even our news agencies don’t either many times. But the crimes such as rape, beatings, and killings of muslim against non-muslims are skyrocketing in Europe. The Europeans are cowards though and their own police are afraid of the areas where muslims reside for the most part.

And of course, the usual things that come from muslims when they feel the ‘heat’ is that they are the victims when it just isn’t true.

(sources: jihadwatch.org, and a few books such as ‘Menace in Europe’, ‘While Europe Slept’, ‘A Never Ending War’, and there are more)

Here is an article that has a series of videos (I usually download them because muslims intimidate the web owners and sometimes get things successfully censored - but it is available at this writing) about what they have uncovered in UK mosques.

jihadwatch.org/archives/022506.php

It is the same thing with the mosques they are uncovering violence being taught in the USA (I already posted that website above) - the imams will say they stopped teaching violence, but it is not true (remember deception is sanctioned in the koran).

In one school for muslims they were told not to use some textbooks because it was so violent and taught it against us - and what they did before throwing them away was to xerox them off. So, basically they told the truth about throwing away the books, but did not tell the truth that they stopped teaching the material inside the books. It is very deceptive. I can’t find the website for that one, but it just happened this year. It was even on fox news.

Grace and Peace Muslim Woman,

Actually I’m a little disappointed that this thread call “Ask about Islam” has degenerated into an apologetic free-for-all. 😦

I simply wanted to ask a question about what a mixed Muslim/Christian family had to share in their prayer life since I had heard that Muslim Men could marry Jewish and Christian Women.

If it is possible for Muslim Men to marry Jewish and Christian Women I would like to know what they have to share in their prayer life as a family? 🤷

From what I read from Muslim Woman was that Muslim Men “can’t” marry Jewish and Christian Women… I have always heard that this is not correct. I have always heard that Muslim Men ‘can’ marry Jewish and Christian Women. If this is so then what is life within these mixed families? What is their prayer life like? How does the Jewish or Christian Women observe her faith? I’m not talking about drinking alcohol or eating pork but religious observance and prayer. What is such a mixed family life?

Wa’salaam.

**The Muslim men are allowed to marry the christian and/or Jewish women (Al Quran 5:5) provided they marry them , give them some money (Mehr/ dowary) and keep them as wife, not as friends or mistresses/ concubines. The wife will share all rights and inherit too. She can remain steadfast on her own relgion, i.e. need not convert to Islam.

They can enjoy all the benefits (sexual as well spiritual) of married life, I mean real love.

As far as the religious rites are concerned, of course the wife will follow her own religion, as she is acustomed to. The husband has no right to stop her from attending church / synagogue etc. That is what I understand. If there is any more problem in this matter, may please be pointed out.

Please remember that such a marriage is allowed. It is not haram. But it may not be the best thing to do because it puts problem on the future generation i.e. children. They become lost like in a divided family, like a pickle. They will suffer and so will the parents.

If I recall muslim women cannot marry non-muslim men. Why is that if men and women share the same rights in islam? You mention inheritance. Would the non-muslim woman fall under the sharia inheritance law where women only receive half of what men get?

Are islamic pickles split down the middle or divided? 🙂

I have a question. The quran and muslims claim that the bible and torah have been corupted. What evidence exists for this corruption? If you can provide no evidence, and the actual evidence demonstrates that these books are very well preserved, doesn’t this contradict the quran which is supposedly the infallible word of God?

What evidence do you have that the quran itself is not corrupted and is what muhammed spoke? Do we have a copy of a completed quran that was created when muhammed was still alive so he could review it? How do you know the quran that Uthman, the 3rd caliph, codified is the exact same thing that muhammed spoke since uthman, according to the hadith, burned allt he scraps and fragments that he compiled into one book? I think the reason that he codified it is becasue there were various versions of the suras floating around and causing confusion. If he burned the originals how do you know the right one’s got into the quran you have today?

Why then does it say men can ‘control’ a woman’s religious beliefs and she can worship her religion if he allows her?
What if the woman wants her children to be Catholic, it says we must raise our kids as Catholics, and the same is in Islam, they must raise their kids muslim, so, when the man gives in and realizes Christianity is right and the children must be raised with the truth, what is the backlash for a man allowing this in Islam?
