Asking for your forgiveness

Pam,

There can never be too much pink! 🙂

I know it’s easy to be discouraged sometimes by very opinionated members on here, but, honestly, when I see someone has posted in a nice, cheerful color, I usually just notice that oh, yeah, so and so replied. That’s it. And over time I gradually associate that color with that person.

Keep it up, girl! 🙂

kevinsgirl

P.S. And if someone doesn’t want to read the color in pink, all they have to do is highlight the post and they can read it in black. 🙂

Lord, please show Pam that her kind, patient, and charitable responses in these forums are often needed by other struggling Catholics. I pray that she can have peace about this matter, knowing that her prayers and her witness are what are truly important- not the color in which she writes them.

And on a slightly selfish note, Lord, please let Pam come back to the forums again. I truly will miss her good advice and honorable witness, and have learned much about being a good sister in Christ from her.

Lord, do not let Pam be troubled by others’ words. Instead, let her find comfort and peace in You, for even more importantly than what the world thinks of her, it is what You think of her. I know, Lord God, that You love Pam, our sister, for her charity to others and her witness to Your Gospel message.

Help her to come back to Catholic Answers Forums with a renewed spirit of joy and vigor to spread the Good News. Amen.

Father, we beg of You to show us how to be good to one another, and not tear others down. Sometimes we are misunderstood no matter how much our hearts are in the right place. Whomever could feel offended by Pam must be misunderstanding her, because her heart cares deeply for others. Please guide those who might have been offended by Pam to see the Truth of her heart, and please warm Pam with Your heavenly light so that she knows she could never offend another of Your children with her caring and compassion. Amen.

What’s next? Will blue be banned?

MY EYES,… my eyes!! 🙂

Somebody, quick, pray for my eyes!

Never mind the forgiveness…I am thanking you now for your many prayers. THAT IS WHAT WE ARE HERE FOR; TO BUILD UP THE COMMUNITY OF GOD- NOT TO DESTROY IT. Stay.
Peace be with you

prayers for inner peace for you, and by the way, no offense taken. pick any color you like. without uniqueness, the world would be a drab shade of gray. Be yourself. If people don’t care for the color you choose that’s fine. after all, you’re not asking them to choose pink for their font.

You guys are all so funny…you really know how to cheer someone up… I’m not going anywhere…just trying not to post in “Pink”. I love you all so very much. I posted many prayers last night in “Black”. I really don’t want to offend anyone. My only goal here is to pray for and with you guys. This is a portion of the message I received, so please pray for the person who sent it:

Hi pyropam !
Folks are not always kind and I still receive complaints regarding what one poster called “Cotton Candy Pink” posts.
Since you do not use this very bright color at other Forums, would you kindly refrain from doing so at the Meet and Greet Forum as well.
It is sometimes hard on one’s eyes, annoying to a few, and often appears as shouting to others. Since it is impossible to please everybody, it helps to remember that the primary purpose of the Meet and Greet Forum is always to make newcomers feel welcomed to the site. Some uniformity in fonts and colors, is a good thing and adds to this goal.

My reply:::::

I post all prayers in “pink” and I post several other things in pink.
I’ve truly tried to be a very welcoming person here on CAF. I love this website and all those on it. If and when I have offended someone…I’m so sorry.
I don’t go on the discussion sites very much, I stick to the “Meet & Greet” and the “Prayer Forum” most of the time.
I am evidently offending people when I think I am welcoming them. I think it would be best if I just quit posting here for now. I’m so confused over the color thing… You post in three colors of blue and you use some green. Then there is another who uses a very BOLD black. I had no idea that “Pink” meant that I was shouting.I also had no idea that people were discussing me and the “Cotton Candy Pink”.
Again, I’m so sorry for offending you and others. Please forgive me for being so disrespectful. My joy each day came from thinking that I made people feel welcome. Sorry for rambling… I promise to leave you guys alone.
God Bless,
Pam

Pam, it’s good to hear from you! I don’t know why some people didn’t like the pink (it doesn’t look like shouting to me, personally)! And you have such a way with words, especially in your prayers. Pink, blue, green, orange, whatever you choose, I’m glad you’re here!🙂

As with many of the Saints through the ages, the Church can only abuse her own…

Christ’s peace.

Hi Pyropam 👋 !
If we take the liberty
of posting a** private** message, sent to us by another member, to an open board, in all fairness to the person who sent this message and for the sake of clarity, and charity, we need to post the entire message.
God Bless You,
Shalom,

Oh my. Private messages being published galore!

Catherine, Pam. Many prayers for you both.

And a general prayer for all members of CAF- That we may remember, with God’s help, what is truly important- sharing our love of God and His True Church with others. Not the color our messages are typed in, the entirety in which we cite a message, nor whether we’re cheering for the yankees or the sox. Let us always be a good, loving family for one another.
God Bless

Scandalous! Surely a Catholic in good standing should only ever be going for the Cardinals :tsktsk:
