Asking prayer but with little hope left

As Petra and the Phoenix stated, I too cut/paste prayers, but I say them with my heart and soul. Often praying for people without reposting, but as I see their prayer requests scroll up on my email. I very quickly learned by observing others who were prayers warriors here that this is pretty effective for keeping a prayer list.

You will be in my prayers along with your family and friends.

Dear Lord, I lift up in prayer to You Violet Shade. I ask You to heal the breach within her family. In any and every way they need to be healed, please heal the family, Dear Lord.

Lord, please bring Violet Shade the things she needs and people she needs to do what is best for her. Help Violet Shade to pray the Serenity Prayer below to you, and make her very aware of Your presence in her life, when she turns her family situation over to You and places it in Your loving hands.

Please reassure Violet Shade that You find her worth giving up Your life on a cross and is worth living now, whatever happens with her family. Please grant her the mercy of strengthened Faith, Hope and Love.

Serenity Prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.

Hi I know from how things work here there will be few prayers, as new members garner few and are soon forgotten, or the same two or three will cut and paste the same cut and paste they do on and on, but I am desperate enough t try, but with little hope any more that prayer does any good.

I will pray, but the above was totally inappropriate for the prayer intentions board.

Ask away. But don’t assume that people are insincere. That statement probably put many off from praying for you.

Po18 is a very nice and very smart, and above all, compassionate man.

Need for reconciliation in my family that has been going on for so long and is now to the point of breaking me, prayers have done nothing nor have the best of efforts.
Both sides think they’re immovably right, but both sides are wrong too and too selfish or dumb to see it.It has wrecked our family.
Anyway, I don’t expect much from CAF members, or anyone anymore but at least I tried, as I have so long with God and the people concerned.

People do actually say the prayer that they cut and paste … so I am praying for you … as I am quite sure the others that post to you are indeed praying for you … God Bless you.

Thanks to all the people on CAF who prayed for me.

Members of the CAF community lifted
me up with prayers when I was on the verge
of despair. They didn’t know me at first.
But still, they prayed. Here are but a few
of the problems they helped me live
through with prayers to our Merciful God:

My mother’s long decline into death.
My father’s ongoing struggle dementia.
My serious back pain.
My ongoing depression.
My disability.

These are but a few of the problems
they stood by me with their prayers. These
anointed people are full of the Holy Spirit.
And they are my Christian community.

Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Violet Shade), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity.
