Assured salvation of Fatima children

How could the children be assured of salvation like Mary told them they were, still having potential to commit mortal sin. The Catholic Church does not teach assured salvation.

Were the children exempt from all the challenges we have that come with the possibility of being damned?
Actually, yes it does, in a way. Predestination is very much a Catholic teaching.

The only thing is that without special revelation (which the Fatima seers may have received), no one knows either the number of the elect, or whether one is of the elect.

Not so. It was the soul of a friend in purgatory.

This is the dialogue between Our Lady & Lucia May 13, 1917:

“Shall I go to heaven too?”
“Yes, you will.”
“And Jacinta?”
“She will go also.”
“And Francisco?”
“He will go there too, but he must say many Rosaries.”

Then I remembered to ask about two girls who had died recently. They were friends of mine and used to come to my home to learn weaving with my eldest sister.

“Is Maria das Neves in heaven?”
“Yes, she is.” (I think she was about 16 years old.)
"And Amelia?"
"She will be in purgatory until the end of the world."
(It seems to me that she was between 18 and 20 years of age.)

Amelia was not one of the seers but a friend.

She assured them of Heaven in May & June; She showed them Hell in July.

God reveals assurance of salvation, either directly or through His angels or saints, only to those whom He knows would not abuse such knowledge. He cannot deny Himself by granting license to sin, and a vast multitude would treat assurance of salvation as license to sin: one needs only to look at the chaos among Evangelicals to see this phenomenon. There are, however, some souls so pious that revealing their salvation will in no way undermine it.

Thats rude and offensive to my people and my culture. Mother Earth can hear us. She is listening to us now. Why can’t you be more like Pope Francis?
your
Good thing those ghosts of mary are just private revelation. For all we know they could just be made up anyway.
is rude and offensive to Catholics. It cuts both ways.

We must respect each other, even when we do not agree
