So why dont some churches let us recieve the blood,i dont feel like the mass is complete or i am missing something,because jesus would have said"reveive my body and blood,except some churches "did he,i feel like i need the blood to complete the mass!

In the Eastern Catholic Church, you recieve BOTh species ALL THE TIME.

The Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ is present in the smallest particle, the tinnist drop, of the consecrated bread and wine. Enough to fill our soul. That’s all we need. I receive only the Sacred Host.

If you really believed that Christ was fully present in both species and asked us to share these, why would you ever have to worry about catching something? Don’t you trust Christ?

I receive under both species, when they are available. I know some peopel think that is redundant, but at the last supper Jesus did say ehreis my body and then here is my blood. Alos, i feel I could suse all the help I can get.
I am not the least bit germophobic. I grew up with many siblings where we had to share everything, and have lived with people from cultures where people eat from the same plates with their hands.I think people who fear catching every thing from any thing do great damage to their immune system. Doing this, I have never been prone to cathing everything that goes around.
It also seems like and insult to Christ to have an atitude that I don’t want to drink from the cup that other members of your body have touched.

The body and blood of Christ are fully present in BOTH species. When one receives only the Sacred Host, he has still received both the body and blood of Jesus Christ in their entirety. So, even though my parish only offers the Host to the laity, we still receive the blood of Christ. The question, then, should be, “At Mass, do you receive the body and blood of Christ under both species? In the form of bread only? Or in the form of wine only?”

How can you say this? Do you really think that “germs” could infect The Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ? If you believe that Jesus can cast out satan, cold gems is child’s play. Plus if you worry about getting germs by sharing, there are countless other ways that gemrs spread, so unless you wash every door handle or disinfect every toilet seat…GERMS.
And if you’re really concerned, be first in line and then nothing to worry about
And to everyone else, we all know what was meant by the original wording of this question. It didn’t have to be corrected so many times. A little pompously, too, a few time.

There are too many misconceptions about the church floating around already, the last thing we need is another…especially one concerning the source and summit of our faith. It’s better to clear up the matter before someone outside the church stumbles across a thread and gets the wrong impression.

I am therefore forced to make an on-the-spot judgement: Evaluate the risk of dropping or breaking the chalice while considering the competency of the EMHC involved. Unfortunately, I go through this far too often in my area, where glass is apparently considered a “noble” material.
Most often I take the risk, though. I just take my time and use great care while receiving and returning the chalice to the EMHC.

I would have to agree here.
We all know, (or should know) that the correct term is “Both species” and that is the term that should be used.
There really are far to many Catholics out there that actually DO think that they are two separate things; we don’t need to encourage that misconception.

Sorry, I did not know what you meant. If you mean do you recieve both the consecrated bread and / or consecrated wine. Say that.
The reason the wine was withheld in the middle ages from the congregation was that they were beginning to believe that the bread was the body and the wine the blood. To emphasize that the body blood soul and divinity was in the least crumb or drop, they recieved only one form.
It would be more accurate for the Ministers of Holy Communion to say : “The body and blood of Christ” when presenting either the consecrated wine or bread.

I receive the Eucharist on my tongue whilst kneeling. In doing so I receive My Lord and My God, in His Body and His Blood in each part of the Host.

When I receive, I prefer to receive the host only. However, as an Extraordinary Minister, Iwhen I am serving in such capacity, I must receive under both species.
When serving, I have been asked by my Pastor to purify the vessels after communion, which means that I must drink the blood remaining in all the cups. Sometimes this amounts to consuming a half a bottle of wine in the morning. I don’t like doing this because I don’t particularly like alcohol (especially before noon). I would prefer it if the Church permitted the blood to be grape juice not wine, and administered it in individual containers like the Protestants do, but I know this is not going to happen.

This is slightly of the subject, but I really would like to know -I love Jesus with all my heart, and mind, I love the mass, the catholic religion. This being so it is very distressing to me that after receiving communion, though I truely believe it is the body and blood of my Lord, I do not feel different. I long to be closer to him through the communion, 
and I wonder why I don’t. is it because I am really not worthy? I try my best to live a holy life, follow the faith closely. I would really like to know what your experiences are, and if anyone of you can help me. really I would not speak of this anywhere but in a forum like this .

I receive the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ under the species of bread b/c of the alcohol in the wine with my health and medications.

Nope, you are not mistaken. Until you receive the Sacraments of Baptism and First Communion, one is not supposed to. (Please correct me if I am wrong, But I belive I remember that Baptism is a requirement for the other Sacraments.) Thanks andGod Bless.
