I think that Franciscan’s recommendation is a good one. It might be a good idea to make an appointment for a general confession. Confess everything from the past that you can think of, clear up to the present moment.

After making that general confession, never revisit the past again. No matter what comes into your mind.

I tried spiritual direction already, it was with an Opus Dei priest, he met with me for about 20 minutes, probably 18 of which he asked about my financial situation, then two minutes of go to daily Mass weekly and read the catechism, then he never called me back.
Sounds like you need to try again. Like I said before finding the right spiritual director isn’t easy, some priest are just not good at it, some priests might not be good in certain areas you need them to be in (i.e. knowlegable about particular issues you have.), etc. If the first one you find isn’t good, keep looking. I had a good one but he moved parishes, now I just have a pretty regular confessor.
I could never confess to someone who knows me, I make a point to be 100% anonymous that’s why I never confess at my home Parish.
You can always go to another parish for confession if having a priest that knows you is a bad thing, BUT in order to get one that can give you good advice over time and notice patterns in your confession and help you need to have a regular confessor and the only way you can get that type of support is to do it face-to-face. It really helps when you have ongoing issues. There is no problem having your face-to-face priest be at a different parish .
