I’ve asked you several questions you’ve not answered one at a time, or two at a time.

You’re just going through the same dull routine you went through earlier where you demand questions - and actually avoid answering the ones I’ve actually asked. 😃

Is it that difficult for you that I have to devote a whole post to a single question?

I’m still earger to discuss things with you despite these funny little ploys of yours…
Start off where I asked you for further information about your sourcing a slavery quote.

Or, I suppose you want me to re-post it!

You’re certainly out to prove how devoid your case is of substance. You’re almost as evasive as many Moslems here

I know. This guy’s amazing. I spend days trying to get a simple answer from him for one question - he avoided it by saying I’d not asked any. Then when he finally admitted it, he accused me of being too dim to have worked it out - obviously he can’t keep to one story there.

Now I’ve asked him several more.

What’s he do? Slip back into the “Have you asked me a question” routine - which in my four years of on-line debate is quite unique.

His refutation to well-thought out discussion/quotes is “Nothing’s been refuted” - a just-so statement.

More bluff and bluster.

He raised totally irrevant points about massacres done under the banner of “Church”.

Don’t worry, I pointed out Christians who acted on conscience in order to stop slavery.

He replied with an obscure quote (that all I want is a little more information on - which isn’t yet forthcoming), so he moves on to asking more questions!

That was an answer she gave. You’re asking an absurd question that a secular state would be influenced by the Catholic Church. It’s another of your false constructs that allows for safety - because it’s beyond reality (refer earlier to your ‘challenge’ for proof of God)

Im not dancing sweetheart, im pointing out the facts of who actually runs America and whose responsibility it is.

The Catholic Church needed no Constitutional rights to control the Catholic population then anymore than it needs Constitutional Rights to control it now.

If the Pope made a papal bull, that would be that.

But the Church looked the other way, didn’t they? With the right hand, they condemned the IDEA of slavery, but did nothing to staunch slavery itself.

And not only in Catholic America. What of the Catholic Portuguese slavers, the Catholic Dutch slavers, the Catholic Spanish slavers, etc.

Where were the threats of excommunication?
