The British government’s Equality and Human Rights Commission plans to intervene in several human rights cases on behalf of Christians, who are facing discrimination on the basis of their faith, a plan displeasing the country’s homosexual groups and atheists.

Oh, for Pete’s sake.

How dare the Equality and Human Rights Commission be fair in its dealings with complaints of discrimination.

Homosexual/Atheist hypocrisy at its worst. :hypno:

Yeah-the homosexuals/atheists want to shove their agendas down our throats in the name of ‘tolerance’ and ‘diversity’, but when it comes to anything favorable to Christianity, THEY whine and complain!

They should ‘go back into the closet’ and JUST SHUT UP!

(I’m sorry-I’m just frustrated today)

“It is one thing to make the case for reasonable accommodation in matters such as religious holidays, and quite another if the accommodation sought to allow the believer to discriminate against others in the provision of a service,” said British Humanist chief Andrew Copson.
Ben Summerskill, chief of the homosexual advocacy institute called Stonewall, said in a report that the move by the government panel left him “deeply disturbed.”
“The commission should be crystal clear that if it seeks to defend the claimed right of any public servant to turn away any user of a public service, it will face strong opposition,” he said.
Blah blah blah…May God bless & have mercy on the enemies of the Church!

Don’t apologize, barb.

You are correct! They do need to shut up otherwise they are insincere hypocrites. It’s not about ‘tolerance.’ They get mad at the Christians who remind them of what they don’t want to be reminded of…

And by the looks of the article, it’s not much of a defense…
In this particular case, the judges ruled that Christians’ rights must be limited. Article 9 of the European Convention states that every citizen is granted the freedom of thought and religion. It also states that citizens are free to practice their beliefs. However, judges ruled that the “manifestation” of Christianity is subject to “qualifications.” They therefore concluded that it cannot be justified that a position “held purely on religious grounds” could legally be defended.
We need Constantine back!

Without God we can do nothing. Going into battle without God is a lost battle for sure.

We need the name of God and need not to hide Him when in battle. This is something that happens a lot in our days.

Contantine? Yes, he could a good example for us today.

Oh, my! Two of these cases were about people who were – shield your children’s eyes, folks – wearing cross necklaces!!!
The nerve - how dare they inflict the sight of a cross on the innocent public! Off with their heads!!

Reading the article, it is interesting how they claim the courts bias agaisnt Christians.

Yeah, what do they expect? they have been given power to pagans for so long.

Well for one thing, he literally did not hide from the name of God going into battle! 😛

I’m glad Pope Benedict took on the name of Benedict I hope he tills the land to restore and reevangelize Europe or at least strengthen the Church there
