We were allowed to attend Mass today! So, just a ton of emotions. So happy and thankful for Jesus and the Mass. So confused about the future. Worried about liturgical things not overall just relieved!!!

Jealous! We get to take communion privately this month, only one time but so wonderful!

I asked one of our deacons who was supervising the confession line yesterday, and he said they are discussing how they might handle the resumption of Masses and that they might start again around Pentecost.

Aren’t you in the UK? Didn’t think anywhere was offering confession this side of the Atlantic! 😁

I know we resume ours here next Monday, with restrictions in place. The problem is, I still don’t know what those restrictions are.

No, I’m in Archdiocese of Philadelphia currently, and we’ve had churches open for prayer and weekly confession the whole time of the shutdown, per the Archbishop’s directives. Some churches also offer Adoration regularly. One huge church in the area is offering Adoration every weekday. There is no public Mass or Eucharist anywhere though, at least not with the Archbishop’s approval.

I am glad the Archbishop allowed this. The Diocese of Wilmington and the Archdiocese of Baltimore, just south of us (driving distance for me), shut everything down.

Apologies. No idea where I got the idea you were in the UK lol! We’ve got complete shutdown right now. 🙁

Households sign up online for one 5 minute slot during May. We go to the rectory and are given communion. My day is May 12 so that’s all I know since I haven’t done it yet!

Good for you im jealous but happy some are now able to attend masse again!
