Attention Trekkies: Who's your favorite captain?

I know some original series fans will be dissapointed, but I have to go with Patrick Stewart’s Capt. Picard. IMHO he made the show what it was.
 
Picard is also my favorite captain! My second favorite is Janeway.

I’d have to say Katherine Janeway of the U.S.S. Voyager. She has that ‘edge’ about here that she trusted her crew and her instincts. Picard was quite laid back, but when ‘it counted’ he went into action.

NOW if you had what is your Favorite Villian or Evil person…I’d have to say Q. Sure he had a ‘human side’ he wouldn’t admit, but he was SOOOO clever.

Q was a great villain! I was so disappointed, though, when he let the Enterprise crew have a look at what life was like in the Q continuum, and it turns out they were basically sitting around bored to death all the time. What a waste!

I was always wishing he would go away. I think the show was good despite him.

Same here, but I do like archer as well!
 
My trek habits tend towards books. I like the original crew series better. Many of Kirk’s people became captains with missions connected to something that Admiral Kirk or Ambassador Spock had going. The Picard stuff is pretty good too (Mr. Data) but after that it seems to have a lot less continuity.

While he helped, the show was was made by him and the others especially Spiner, Frakes & Sirtis.
 
The ones that followed Kirk were very good, but the original Captain Kirk will always be the best.
 
Glad to see that(for once) I am in the majority!😃 I went with Captian Jean-Luc Picard.
 
I voted Kirk.

BTW, how come Captain Christopher Pike never gets mentioned in these polls? 😉

As far as Janeway goes, I thought that women always asked for directions when they were lost… 😉
 
Got to be Picard. When comparing the two captains, Kirk & Picard, William Shatner is so hammy compared with the style of Patrick Stewart. Though, I never understood why Stewart was so very English when he was supposed to be a Frenchman. I like them all, but I do think Picard was a bit more natural in the role.
 
I like them all, but my personal favourite will always be the legendary Captain Kirk.

We all need to be in touch with our “Inner Shatner.” 😉

Anyone who is taught English by a British-accented person, will have a British accent.
