That’s what I said! “The only debate is over when it is justifiable and when it isn’t.” And yes, converting clergy can be married, but that’s the exception, not the norm.

 I know it's in the Catechism. The problem is, these petitioners, and many others, either do not read it or "interpret" it in their own way. This case presents the issue head-on and allows the Church to address these false beliefs point-by-point.

Maybe Pope Benedict XVI’s next encyclical should be “Obedience to the Teachings of God” to help out all these dissenters out there understand how wrong they are.
