Thus showing the error of private interpretation. At the center of every cherry picked from scripture there is a pit.

Lump this entire non-scriptural concept in there with Hiram Miller’s end of the world in 1843 (or 1844?) and the JW’s end of the world in 1914. Human nature abhors a scriptural void, and so concocts something to reduce the amount of faith and trust that is needed.
