Are you pronouncing Augustine AW-gus-teen or a-GUS-tin?
I like Maximilian and Xavier. I don’t like Patrick at all and absolutely detest the nn Pat. I don’t like Grant either.

The last name will start with an H. My wife loves Grant as it is her mother’s maiden name. But I just do not like it at all. I wish I knew a name or a way to work on a compromise. I really do like Maximilian, and the nickname Max is nice for a little boy. She does not like Max at all, she thinks that it is a fat kids name (not sure why.) We have discussed using the name Seamus. I always wanted to name my son Seamus. Maybe Seamus Grant is not that bad?

I really like Maxmilian but he’s sure to become Max. Maybe consider using Kolbe instead of Maxmilian. I also like Patrick but not Pat. I don’t really care for Grant as a first name. I think Seamus is a great name as well as Xavier.

I htink Seamus Grant is a great name! I also like that it will keep your family history alive.

It may not be Irish, but I love the name Fletcher. I wanted to name my son Fletcher Christian, after the Marlon Brando character, but instead we called him Jeremy, after Jeremy Irons.

I like Grant as a middle name. All three of my boys have my maiden name as a middle name, and its a very similar name, only one letter off as a matter of fact 😉
