Back surgery - need prayers

I found out today that I need back surgery for 2 herniated discs that are compressing the nerve roots and aren’t responding to conservative therapy. I’m in a lot of pain and am totally disabled right now - with four kids it’s been a challenging time for our family. I was told today that it could be 2 weeks until an appt. opens up with the orthopedic surgeon and longer for a surgery to be scheduled. I would really appreciate prayers for the surgeon to see me quickly and get a surgery date scheduled soon. Many, many thanks!

Dear God, please relieve the suffering from all who you will. May the pains of Christ remind us that salvation was your gift to us; please make us humble, and give us the faith and wisdom to do your will. Lord Jesus, please have mercy on those in pain, physical and mental. Please help them with their pain. I ask this in your name.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: creator, redeemer, sanctifier. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

Faith, I ask God to ensure you have surgery quickly, and that God will guide your surgeon in his skill and decisions.

Please God, give this mother good progress and full recovery.

I pray you have family and friends to help you with the children.

Please God, help Faith to cope with the pain, and to be able to follow directions for rest and recovery, with the help of family and friends.

Heartfelt thanks to those who are so generously praying for me. I am so grateful to you all. I woke up today with an improved attitude and a renewed faith in God’s providence and care for me. I attribute it to your prayers and am so very, very grateful.

As one who has suffered from back pain for 19 years and three surgeries later, I will certainly pray for you and that it will be sussessful. Have you tried a chiropractor? You are in my prayers.
 
PRAYERS ANSWERED!!! Despite my GP not sending over the right forms and the specialist not have any evidence of my referral, a compassionate receptionist scheduled me for an appt on 7/3 and is retrieving all my records and the MRI scan for me. God is so good!!! I attribute it to the prayers of the faithful and am SO SO SO GRATEFUL to you all!!!
