back surgery

Please pray for my BIL. We found out on Saturday that he has 1 ruptured disc and 1 completely dislocated disc in his back. He has had pain off and on for months, but it is getting far worse. The whole mess is putting pressure/pinching on his sciatic nerve which is causing pain down the leg and into his foot. He is HEAVILY medicated just to bear the pain. It is a 3 wk wait just for a consult w/ the surgeon. Please keep in your prayers that the Lord give him strength to sustain the pain until then, or by some small miracle, a cancellation will open up for him to be seen sooner.

He is very heavy set (5’7’’, excess of 300 lb). He has been able to lose weight in the past, but we feel his weight is complicating the issue. Thanks in advance.
 
Dear Jesus, please bring comfort and healing to JLCecilia’s brother in law, that he might have relief from his affliction. May a remedy be expedient, and may he be drawn close to you now and forever by this suffering. Mary pray with us. Amen. :gopray2:

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

My thoughts and prayers are with him in his pain and difficulty. May the Lord heal him
 
Merciful Father, look with love upon your child, who is tested terribly by the pain of injury. Graciously send him competent and loving doctors, nurses and technician who will reflect your love to the world around them. As this BIL reflects on the entire situation, may he be lead to respect the limits of his body, and the desires that You have for him. We pray that healing will be blessed and complete, and that he will praise and thank Your name. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!.
