ROME - Popes generally find a way to support the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., and Pope Francis didn’t disappoint: On Friday he applauded the hundreds of thousands who participated in the event, saying that nothing can justify terminating the life of “an innocent child growing in the mother’s womb.”
In a message dated Dec. 6, 2016, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, says that “His Holiness Pope Francis sends warm greetings and the assurance of his closeness in prayer to the many thousands of young people from throughout America” gathered in Washington.
The pope, Parolin continues, is “profoundly grateful for this impressive testimony to the sacredness of every human life.”

🙂

I was greatly upset during the campaign, that a lot of negative attention was given in regards to Trump and our Holy Father, over what was mostly a misquote and misunderstanding over a wall and then kerfuffle over populism and Hitler (:doh2:), but yet I couldn’t seem to find any articles or anything in regards to our Holy Father when it came to Clinton who not only openly endorsed abortion, but wanted it expanded and protected as a sacred right. And there were Catholics out there who tried to justify to themselves voting for Clinton on the basis of the wall and immigration kerfuffle with Trump and our Holy Father. 😦

Because, even if those who only think of building walls are unchristian, how much more so then, are those who think abortion a sacred right, expanded and funded including partial birth abortion and this industry of murder also exported around the world?

Thank you for sharing this.

God Bless You
