I agree. It doesn’t exist. The Godfather, Part 3. :dts: Nope.
It doesn’t count. It’s terrible. There is no Part 3. :tsktsk:

I hate to admit this, but I have never seen it.It’s really well made, with the special effects, and very beautiful to look at. I wouldn’t change it in anyway. But at the same time it’s a difficult to watch because of length and in spots a bit lulling. It’s more like a piece of art than something entertaining.

Is Zardos that film with Sean Connery?Zardoz: I still don’t know what it’s about considering how abstract and weird it is plus the scene I remember most is where these people are testing a man and essentially go “Ah, so that’s what makes him aroused.” (No, it is not a porno, but that’s just an example of where it gets weird.)
The American: Boring, overly slow, and the most exciting parts you see will be a man walking on stairs.
My husband likes it. I just watched it for the first time about a year ago.I hate to admit this, but I have never seen it.![]()
Forrest Gump
Too long & drawn out. Some of the slow space scenes could have been shortened. And yet, there are many who proclaim it to be one of the best movies ever made.![]()
No doubt. It is beyond me how anyone can watch that and say, “Wow…that was good. I really enjoyed it.”I know this might not be a popular choice here, but I have almost nothing positive to say about The Passion of the Christ.
Count me among them. To each there own.![]()
Nonsense. Every moment is purposeful and perfect. It isn’t supposed to be exciting. Star Wars ruined science fiction by turning it into pure adventure. 2001 is to science fiction what The Lord of the Rings is to fantasy.Too long & drawn out. Some of the slow space scenes could have been shortened.
The Passion of the Christ is not an easy movie to watch that is for sure, but I do thinkNo doubt. It is beyond me how anyone can watch that and say, “Wow…that was good. I really enjoyed it.”
Certainly well made but like Schindler’s List it isn’t entertaining in the least which, to me anyways, is ultimately the purpose of a movie. The Passion of the Christ is not an easy movie to watch that is for sure, but I do think
it was a well made movie.
Dang it!The Godfather, Part 3. :dts: Nope.

Glad you brought that up. That was a stinker!! Almost as bad as Arrival.Dang it!uch: And I just got the 3 disc set (admittedly, I’ve never seen III all the way through).
Still worth it for I & II. (And yes, I am aware of and have seen the re-cut of them as the 7+(?) hour *Godfather Saga *-- I think I kind of prefer them separately)
On the other hand, I know what you mean. *The Matrix *was such a good film, it is a shame they never made any sequels. I repeat: They never made any sequels!
My nomination for Bad Movie to Avoid?:
Gravity
All the talk-show hype leading up to it raved about this life-changing movie.
What a stinker!

I recently “wasted” a morning reading this blog: Typeset In The FutureNonsense. Every moment is purposeful and perfect. It isn’t supposed to be exciting. Star Wars ruined science fiction by turning it into pure adventure. 2001 is to science fiction what The Lord of the Rings is to fantasy.
I would argue that it’s not well made in the least. But again, to each their own.The Passion of the Christ is not an easy movie to watch that is for sure, but I do think
it was a well made movie.
It was better than The Temptation of Christ!I would argue that it’s not well made in the least. But again, to each their own.![]()
The Man Who Saved the World (AKA “Turkish Star Wars”). The people who made that “movie” looked at the bad reviews for Plan Nine from Outer Space and took it as a challenge rather than as a warning. This is a revival of a thread from a few years back and an idea from another current thread. I realize the topic is not at all objective, but it might be fun to get differing opinions. So, I guess I need to try to think of my idea of the a Bad Movie to be avoided and use your time with something more constructive.
I think I will start with: Jaws The Revenge.
