Servant19… if Baha’u’llah is…“the Promised One of all ages and all religions” then it would be very important for Mankind to know about him,so why did you beg me to take down a photo of him (which I did)… in the Catholic faith we don’t have a photo of Jesus only paintings and sculptures, but we are very proud to show them to the world.

Reality obviously needs to be considered and further clarified as with our understanding of a very supernatural world which logic of a two dimensional human view simply doesn’t suffice.

Seems we admitted the supernatural can and does interact with humanity. Still can’t see the man made restriction of the Incarnation. Course to deny this is to take man back to a period prior to mans redemption.

I say that St. Gertrude prayer all day long.👍

It really sounds bizarre to me. Is this some type of New Age thing?

Out the 15 million members don’t you think I could find 10 who could say good things about their Church, I can’t because I don’t have 15 million phone numbers or emails:) .
You never answer my questions brother

…I understand…

…the point is not for people to say good things about the Church, it’s finding stories where they are impacted to such an extent that other people in society take notice.

You don’t have 10?

What about you being a Jew. Would you have embraced Jesus?

(if I keep asking you questions twice, it’ll be a long loooooooong thread)

.

If you were a Jew in the year 32AD, and you met Jesus face to face, would you have embraced Him? Would His name have “cut right through you”?
I can give you a hundred stories of Baha’u’llah of similar impact…
In the latter quote, you are saying that Baha’u’llah had “similar impact” to Jesus; thus, you have acknowledged that Jesus DID have the very presence, the “impact”, that you called into question in the first post above.
  1. Baha’u’alla had “impact” on those he met.
  2. Baha’u’alla had the same kind impact on people that Jesus had.
  3. Therefore, Jesus had impact on people.
Points 1 & 2 are accepted by you as truth. Therefore, the conclusion must be accepted by you as a truth, also. However, this contradicts the point you were trying to make in the first post I quoted.

What the heck? 🤷

Servant19, I gotta be honest with you…you contradict yourself quite often, and it makes meaningful discussion with you almost impossible.

Is this how you make conclusions through implications which are not there, Randy?

🙂

Where on earth did you read that I said Jesus had no impact on people??

The common denominator is Techno.

I personally don’t feel many Christians alive today would have embraced Jesus in His time on earth, nor would they have embraced Baha’u’llah…

This is not a reflection on the glory and station of Jesus or Baha’u’llah but a reflection on us and how petty minded we are, quibbling over the things unknown, when we can work together on creating a more spiritually empowered world…

Baha’u’llah on Angels:

“Methinks, they are like the angels which Thou hast created of snow and of fire”

Is this…Baha’u’llah saying that he created the Angels out of snow and fire ?

Thankyou for sharing this prayer. I must say I had never come across it till now.

It seems to be a very mystical and symbolic prayer by Baha’u’llah.

The snow and fire seem to reflect the yearning of sincere souls, the true lovers of God, to find their Beloved. The snow representing the snow white purity of such souls, and the fire representing the soul which is ablaze with the love of God.

This is my personal understanding of course 🙂

Its a beautiful prayer…

Do you know you may be sent to hell for attempting to draw people away from God almighty. Be therefore very careful for you will be finding yourself in the pool of eternal fire. Don’t chase after false gods when you have a Loving and Merciful God at hand.

How does he know? I wonder what degree of certainty can be assigned to this? Does he see and is this seeing amount to a certain degree of knowing? How does he see or know?
Its a tremendous double standard when Jesus can say ABC and you take him to his full word, yet Baha’u’llah says similar things about the Kingdom, and its “how does he know”…

Baha’u’llah knew everything about the Kingdom, everything…a thorough study of His Revelation will give that certain conclusion…

thank you dear friend. May God guide me ever nearer towards Him. I am a sinner, only making lowly steps in His path.

With love and with a heart ablaze in His remembrance I pray that He will have mercy on my soul and will forgive me for anyone whom I may cause to stray towards darkness and hate.

I OPPOSITE of hate you with all my heart and soul 🙂
(that means I love you btw)

Because that which is flesh is flesh and that which is spirit is spirit. Flesh and bones cannot inherit the Kingdom of heaven.

A photo does not represent who Baha’u’llah is. Jesus is a Life-Giving Spirit (according to Peter) and that is where He wielded His influence over the centuries. Baha’u’llah is no different …

This is central to Baha’i teaching… and to the teachings of Paul…

God bless you.

Not at all as we take Christ to be the Incarnate Word of God. We respect all as is confirmed by the Church in relation to your faith as its documented as with Islam and all who worship the only True God. But for example…
This is not a reflection on the glory and station of Jesus or Baha’u’llah but a reflection on us and how petty minded we are, quibbling over the things unknown, when we can work together on creating a more spiritually empowered world…
However, when we say unknown in relation to the Incarnate Word of God, then the rejection of the Incarnate Word of God really becomes the double standard. Because as we show, and the why that some can’t come to understand, then not knowing is confirmed. Why make infallible statements of what is not known?

Not at all as we take Christ to be the Incarnate Word of God.
As I too believe that Baha’u’llah, also is the Incarnate Word of God…so why does my belief get oppressed?

Why believe the Church? The Church would never have existed or continued to exist had some people not recognised Jesus for who He was.

That same recognition process exists today with Baha’u’llah. Why is the belief of Jesus as the Incarnate Word of God oppressing the same belief in Baha’u’llah?

I don’t reject Jesus as the Incarnate Word of God.

Unlike Christianity, the Baha’i Faith makes a distinction between God in His Essence and God’s Word (which is the First Emanation from His Essence)

.

it is safe to say Bahaullah is not Jesus or anyone related to Jesus either physically or spiritually.

why do I say this? because what comes from Bahaullah contradicts most of what comes from Jesus.

knowing the above, I say Bahaullah is a sinful man just like the rest of us and since he rejects the teachings of the Christ and tries to sell people on contradictory teachings he is more a man in the mode of joseph smith and mohammed than in the mode of the ONLY SON OF GOD.

the bahai reject virtually everything the RCC teaches about Jesus, just as their founder Bahaullah rejected virtually everything Jesus taught us…

the RCC teaches us what it received from the apostles who spent three years 24-7 living with and being taught and trained by Jesus. that is how we know that Bahaullah’s teachings have no connection to Jesus beyond the connection that all non-believing humans have with Jesus.
