I received the following from mjg116. As they were the OP for the thread, and they wished to clarify the argument (not forward it); I felt this was an appropriate post.

I’m the original person who posted the question on the Bahai faith. I have seen the discussion is now closed and there is controversey about the authenticity of the original question.

I would like to clarify, I am a Catholic and I was asking because I truly was interested, the reason I never replied was because there were so many replies happening already I didn’t see the point. I haven’t had time to read all the posts and didn’t want to contradict anyone.

I was also not happy about the way I worded the original question as it sounded more like I was trying to prove their religion as false which was not what I intended - I wrote the question late at night and the wording came out wrong.

Can you post this on the forum by any chance? I find the discussion interesting but it clearly has gotten out of hand.
