I will admit I was being rude but because you pushed me to the point of rudeness now all of the sudden when I decide I need to have the comments of me being ignorant need to stop so I decide to play the same game, and now I am the bad guy
No excuse. If you want to participate with adults, learn to control yourself. You crossed the line with catharina and others.

One thing about being an adult is to understand that there are consequences to your actions. I have reported this to the moderator.

Peace

Tim

So still no “thank you.”
Still no “apologies” for your rudeness.

Wow.
It’s not even worth it with you and your hypocritical comments anymore.

I pray for and hope you will get better with your arthritis pain.

Seriously?

So them calling me snobbish was such a nice comment.
Or how about the time they called me uneducated
O and I sure loved it when they said I was a bad Catholic.

Orogeny, I was hoping you’d check back into the thread.
Thanks for your comments, earlier and recent.

I will admit I was being rude
Good…this is a step in the right direction.
but because you pushed me to the point of rudeness
It will be important for you, as you grow to an adult, to know that only you have the power to respond or react in the way that you choose. No one can make you be rude. No one can “make” you upset, you only allow yourself to get upset/rude/etc… One must be responsible for one’s own actions. In the end, God will not judge us by what others made us do…but on what we chose to do (or not do).
now all of the sudden when I decide I need to have the comments of me being ignorant need to stop so I decide to play the same game, and now I am the bad guy
The key is to not play “the game”. Say “thanks” when people reach out to you, show common courtesy, return kindness for everything, even if it wasn’t kind unto you. Pray for humility.

Hope that helps. 🙂

None of these things were said to you.
I did say he was being snotty, because he was. Not snobby, but I did say arrogant, yes. His attitude has been arrogant and punkish the whole time. Rude, derisive, derogatory, snide, all of those adjectives.

SwissGuard, one more time - This forum is not middle school, not the playground, and you do not rule it.

Thanks.

The way you said it would be the nicer way to consult it.
Not thank others for me.

Really?

Julianne called me snobbish on comment No. 413
Nate13 said I wasn’t Catholic Comment No. 315

Still don’t believe me?
No.

In post 413, Juliane said:
“You, my dear young man, are quite a snotty persona on-line, aren’t you?”

In post 315, nate said:
“For all I know your just on here to cause trouble and aren’t even Catholic.”

I agree with Newbie 2’s humane suggestion that if the baker encouraged a potential client to put aside an afternoon and come all the way over to her home with the intention of tasting and purchasing cake from her…then, if she suddenly tells them she cannot bake the cake because of her religious beliefs–something the potential client could and would not have known about beforehand…then there would be nothing wrong for her to say, “hey, there’s a good bakeshop down the road…”

This way, she is not hurting her own business, she is not going against her beliefs, and she is being a kind person who is making up for the time she cost them.

Now…c’mon…you cannot in all things that are logical in this world…compare sending someone to buy a cake…to sending someone to get an abortion.
DG, I know that according to your identifier, you might not accept the Doctrine of Faith excerpt I posted earlier this morning, #390, but have you read it? Do you see why Catholics cannot agree with your plea to just be nice and go along to get along?

Yah that basically just answered your own question.
Snotty and snobby have different meanings (as you must know).

No one, including Nate, said you’re not Catholic.

You are skilled at moving off topic.
My issue and others agree, is that it would be a step
in the right direction if you would choose to thank everyone for
their patience and assitance and also to offer an apology for your admitted rudeness.

You know what?

ahs is right. This is stupid.

I do apologize for my rudeness and I do hop we can put this behind us.

(@ DG) …because, regardless of how serious you feel the sin is (abortion vs. homosexual acts) we cannot support, in any way, the sin without being participants in (or encouragers of) the sin ourselves.

Again read the comment it clearly says.

“For all we know your not even catholic”

There saying I’m not a Catholic
You re-read it:

It says “For all we know your not even catholic.”
This site has been over-run by trolls many times.

Since you refuse to say thanks, to apologize,
it’s hard to see why anyone would instantly see you as “Catholic.”

So nate said: " for all we know… ."
