he didn’t eat with Satan out in the desert, did he?Yes because when Jesus met sinners…he actually sat down and ate with them.

Lol. yes because 2 lesbians = The Great Satan.he didn’t eat with Satan out in the desert, did he?
Other than making money for her business, how would that be helpful? She could refuse to decorate cake in a particular way that would promote immorality, but she could at least offer to make a cake without such graphics and explain that she does not condone what they are celebrating.
Do you disagree with Church teaching regarding homosexual acts?Lol. yes because 2 lesbians = The Great Satan.![]()
I didn’t claim they were Satan. I asked if you disagree with the Church’s teaching regarding homosexual acts. Do you?Lol where in Church teaching does it say that 2 Lesbians = Satan? Where does it say that anyone is Satan, other than Satan.
Did Jesus ever help celebrate the sins of those sinners? No I do not disagree with the Church, they are sinners, last time I checked Jesus ate with sinners.
It would leave a better impression on the couple than flatly refusing service altogether, which might in turn plant a seed for the couple. Now that the couple was totally refused, they are probably turned even further away from Truth.Other than making money for her business, how would that be helpful?

now you’re saying that Jesus not only ate with sinners but supported their sin and BENEFITTED from their sin?!Jesus ate with tax collectors who robbed people out of their money, who do you think paid for the meals?
now you’re saying that Jesus not only ate with sinners but supported their sin and BENEFITTED from their sin?!
Jesus is loveBut the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?” 31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
correct, Jesus did not support nor condone sin. the fact that he shared meals and talked to sinners should not be interpretted as condoning sin. as you say, “go and sin no more”. but you are the one who, in response to this thread about a woman who refused to make a “wedding cake” for a SS couple, stated that Jesus ate with sinners. I don’t know how else to interpret your post in this context than as support for the unrepentant sin of SSM.Jesus goes to a tax collectors house and the tax collector throws him a big banquet. How do you think the tax collector was able to afford the house/food/wine/servants at the party?
- Jesus Never supported sin. Him saying “Go and Sin no more” pretty much settles that
- luke 5:27-32:
Do you think Jesus partying with Levi was an instance of Jesus supportining sin? Well the Pharisees did,
Jesus is love
You know what I meant.Um, segregation? Really? Same thing as black-only and white-only water fountains?
Does anyone have a right to have a cake? Is refusing to make a cake to celebrate an event that is evil an affront to human dignity? How so?
If a man came to her house and ordered a cake to celebrate abortion rights, would the baker be a bigot if she refused to sell him a cake?

I agree with this.Well if it’s her own business, I guess she can choose with whom she wants to do business with–she’s her own boss.
But I wonder how far she takes this?
Does she ask heterosexual couples if they have had sex before their wedding and are therefore sinning…and then does she refuse to make their cake, too?
Or does she check to make sure all her clients are christian?
Does she check to see if a couple is using artificial birth control before baking them a cake?
Does she make sure that no one has had an abortion or neither of the couple have been married before–and if so, that they have had their previous marriage annulled before she makes them a cake?
Would she turn away a Mormon couple about to wed? A Jewish couple, since they probably don’t think Jesus was the son of God, but just a troublemaker who was found guilty of sedition?
Honestly, she should have them all fill out a questionnaire before arriving for their first appointment.
Better yet, she should list in her add all the people she will NOT bake a cake for and save those who don’t fit her beliefs the trouble of hauling their cookies all the way to her house to taste her celebration cake.
It would just be more efficient for everybody that way.
So those 2 women were Satan??Originally Posted by** Birdpreacher**![]()
Sounds like she did talk to them. However, I doubt that not participating in their “wedding” has really any effect on them.It would leave a better impression on the couple than flatly refusing service altogether, which might in turn plant a seed for the couple. Now that the couple was totally refused, they are probably turned even further away from Truth.
