I asked for your translation of John 3:5, and you gave this:
Here is the verse John 3:5 as translated by others:
ESV
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
KJV
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
DRB
Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Please - put your thoughts into a translation so I can see it for myself and compare with others, OK? Thanks.
I want your translation, not your interpretation. It is one sentence - not two, and you need to include the entire verse. Can you do it or not? I dont understand why this is so difficult for you - you have obviously spent a lot of time on it. If you wish to translate John 3:5&6 together, that is fine. The water is the agent that brings about the first birth into the physical world. To be born again, into the Kingdom of God, which is now spiritual, the Holy Spirit is the agent, acting like water in regenerating the spiritual man.
