Charity alert! When they started taking her more seriously than they do God.

The Ten Commandments are not considered part of the Old Covenant Law.So we no longer have to follow the ten commandments?
Well, since I’ve been here, imroc has declared that we’re not true Christians, Maria has told me that I’m going to Hell, and Marilena has told me that I cannot be saved.AWWW…that’s untrue!
Because God says that we have the liberty to disagree over things that are not mandated or explicitly taught in scripture. Then why do protestants have non-essential doctrine?
No, God the Father does not want infant baptism.God the Father wants infant baptism (Lutherans) God the Son disagrees (Baptists) and they send the Holy Spirit out to contradict each other???
Mary.P.S…who is God the mother…
Well, since I’ve been here, imroc has declared that we’re not true Christians, Maria has told me that I’m going to Hell, and Marilena has told me that I cannot be saved.Who told you that Catholics do not see non-Catholics as Christian?
Great. I can’t wait until Sunday so I can go to Holy Family and participate in communion. I’m glad that they’ll welcome me as a participant.818 "However, one cannot charge with the sin of the separation those who at present are born into these communities [that resulted from such separation] and in them are brought up in the faith of Christ, and the Catholic Church accepts them with respect and affection as brothers . . . . All who have been justified by faith in Baptism are incorporated into Christ;** they therefore have a right to be called Christians, and with good reason are accepted as brothers in the Lord by the children of the Catholic Church**."272
You are heading in the right direction now.Great. I can’t wait until Sunday so I can go to Holy Family and participate in communion. I’m glad that they’ll welcome me as a participant.
Yes. He surely does.God the Father does not want infant baptism.
Wow. I did not know that baptists considered Mary to be God the mother. This is shocking!Mary
That isn’t my understanding…the Ten Commandments were given to Moses to give to God’s chosen people…and then God expanded his chosen to include all of mankind…I see a much better flow from the old to the new…remember Jesus didn’t come to destroy the old but to define it…The Ten Commandments are not considered part of the Old Covenant Law.
I’ve been reading this thread all afternoon…If you were Baptised in the name of the Father…Son…and Holy Ghost…you are a Christian…And Catholic at that…you just aren’t aware of that fact.Well, since I’ve been here, imroc has declared that we’re not true Christians, Maria has told me that I’m going to Hell, and Marilena has told me that I cannot be saved.
And then there are all of the Roman Catholics from the last message board I came from.
What else should I think?
Where does God say that?Because God says that we have the liberty to disagree over things that are not mandated or explicitly taught in scripture.
You meant to be facetious or sarcastic or whatever with this remark, but you’re not far off, actually. Anyone, non-Catholics (even Hindus and other non-Christians) may attend Catholic Masses and other services. You may not receive communion, however, because it is the sign of unity in the Catholic Church and denotes that you believe all that the Church teaches, which you don’t.Great. I can’t wait until Sunday so I can go to Holy Family and participate in communion. I’m glad that they’ll welcome me as a participant.
Really? So then they would have no problem with me taking communion there? You are heading in the right direction now.
We don’t. We consider her a woman like any other woman. A sinner saved by grace.Yes. He surely does.
Wow. I did not know that baptists considered Mary to be God the mother. This is shocking!![]()
So then, I’m not accepted as an equal Christian. You meant to be facetious or sarcastic or whatever with this remark, but you’re not far off, actually. The answer is in the post above yours. You are always welcome at church. You can go up in the communion line and receive a blessing but not communion as you do not believe that it is the body and blood of Christ. The day that you can receive Him in the Eucharist is worth the wait.Really? So then they would have no problem with me taking communion there?
Yes, I am a catholic Christian in the “Universal-catholic” sense of the word. I absolutely am not a Roman Catholic.I’ve been reading this thread all afternoon…If you were Baptised in the name of the Father…Son…and Holy Ghost…you are a Christian…And Catholic at that…you just aren’t aware of that fact.
I do reject the Roman Catholic church’s teachings and I explained why.Maria and Marilena said such things becasue you said you rejected “All the teachings of the Catholic Church” If that is true you reject the teaching that Christ died for your sins…it was witty…and a way to point out that you don’t reject all of the Churchs’ teachings…
You are not a Christian living in the fullness of the faith. So then, I’m not accepted as an equal Christian.
The Nicene Creed in which Christians profess belief in one “holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church” was written at a time when the word Catholic was clearly established as what you are distinguishing as “Roman Catholic”. Do you say the Nicene Creed?Yes, I am a catholic Christian in the “Universal-catholic” sense of the word. I absolutely am not a Roman Catholic.
I do reject the Roman Catholic church’s teachings and I explained why.
Just for future reference, we consider all who have professed the Lord Jesus Christ to be bona fide Christians. You are welcome to take communion at our church. We will not discriminate against you that way.The answer is in the post above yours. You are always welcome at church. Yes, we do affirm the Nicene Creed and, since “catholic” means simply “universal”, we see no problem with that. The Nicene Creed in which Christians profess belief in one “holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church” was written at a time when the word Catholic was clearly established as what you are distinguishing as “Roman Catholic”. Do you say the Nicene Creed?
