As a resident of Illinoia I am fascinated by the disturbing coverage that is being given to one Senator Barack Obama.

Yes, he has Charisma and is an eloquent speaker, however, beyond that I do not see why so many see him as being the best answer for President.

Why do I say this. well;

1. He has no real “leadership” experience in his background. State Legislator in Illinois and 2 plus years as a Senator.
2. He is a lawyer…this alone should disqualify any man or woman for running for President.
3. Andrew Greeley is for him so as a faithful Catholic I know that I should be against him.
4. Oprah likes him
5. Most of his stands on positions are based on current polling data.
6. If you review his stands on the positions he is as pro abortion as one can get and his economic stands on issues are very “socialistic”.

Any thoughts on the latest Rock Star in American Politics.

as a chicago resident as well, i gotta say that there’s more qualified people. He’ll be dead last in the race and should spend money and time instead to better his skills.

Just as I am not supporting Brownback, I will not be supporting Obama. They picked an empty vessel in him. Looks good, talks smart but when you inspect his voting record, he has way too many no votes on critical issues and too many liberal votes and not enough moderate or conservative ones. In other words he’s a coward imo who is allowing his controllers to shape him as non offensive as possible to run for President. And Americans will eat it up
