Awesome.

“In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” - Our Lady of Fatima (1917)

“I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.” (DRB - 1899)

“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel.” (NAB - 1970)

I don’t know what this video meant by “One Mass”…

There have always been different forms of the Eucharistic Liturgy, even in the West.

Furthermore, styles of church architechture have varied throughout the centuries. When Gothic first appeared, it was considered barbaric–hence the name.

Finally, Sr. Lucia said that the Consecration of Russia had already taken place under John Paul II.

Careful, bpbasilphx; your facts are going to spoil everything!

“winning battles…
and holding the enemy at bay
One Mass…
One Pilgrimage…
And one Rosary…
at a time”

The video was not saying that the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has only been presented in one form to us, but rather that one Mass can accomplish good beyond what the worshippers can see at the time.

Knowing the attitude of the SSPX towards the Missal of Pope Paul VI, I can say that this is definitely NOT what they mean.

I was on an SSPX-friendly mailing list. The traditionalists there were much more likely to have attended a Divine Liturgy than the average Roman Catholic. They know that our Lord’s sacrifice can be presented to us in other forms besides the TLM.

The video says “winning battles… One Mass… at a time”. Given the content of the rest of the video, I have to say they definitely DO mean that a Mass can accomplish good beyond the sanctification of those in attendance.

What did they mean? Let’s see:

“winning battles… One Mass… One pilgrimage… And one Rosary… at a time.”

Schismatics! Pay attention.

And which the OF does as well (accomplish good beyond the sanctification of those in attendance).

Does anyone know what the music was? It WAS magnificent.

As for the rest, from my side of the fence, I believe them to be wrong, esp. indicated in their placement of “excommunications” in quotation marks.

Just prayed my first rosary for the consecration of Russia according to our Lady’s request. (Or, for the Holy Father’s intentions, if, to my surprise, Russia has already been consecrated as requested).

May the Good Lord smile upon Russia and bless her and may a consecrated and holy Russian nation be a blessing to the whole world!

Finally, Sr. Lucia said that the Consecration of Russia had already taken place under John Paul II.
I just went to the following Vatican site pertaining to the consecration :

vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20000626_message-fatima_en.html

The following is why a lot of Catholics respectfully doubt the fulfillment of what Our Lady requested:

“In order to respond more fully to the requests of “Our Lady”, the Holy Father desired to make more explicit during the Holy Year of the Redemption the Act of Entrustment of 7 May 1981, which had been repeated in Fatima on 13 May 1982. On 25 March 1984 in Saint Peter’s Square, while recalling the fiat uttered by Mary at the Annunciation, the Holy Father, in spiritual union with the Bishops of the world, who had been “convoked” beforehand, entrusted all men and women and all peoples to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in terms which recalled the heartfelt words spoken in 1981, etc…”

It says entrusted all men and women, Russia was not specifically mentioned/consecrated. It is said that Sr. Lucia agreed that what Pope John Paul II did within Our Ladys request, but it does make one wonder…

youtube videos frequently play jerkily on my computer, so I don’t doubt I could have missed the intent.

And just what does “schismatics take note” mean?

Are you referring to what I said? If so, I was talking about the fact that many Catholics say that SSPX members are schismatics. And even the mainstream media has picked up on this and routinely say that the SSPX is in schism. But they are not in schism, and have never been in schism. So I was pointing out how misinterpreting statements, or taking them out of context, leads to these false impressions. Perhaps I should have used a sarcastic smiley after “Schismatics!” for those who aren’t familiar with the situation. So thanks for letting me know, so that I could clarify.

And for the record, the First Vatican Council said that the situation is not the same for people who have never been Catholic as it is for people who have accepted the Catholic faith, only to later reject it. So that is what I believe. God bless.

Propaganda by a group in scism with the church. It might even be considered herisy since they are promoting direct opposition to the teaching and the practice of the Church.
Not touching, disturbing and misleading.
Thank you for proving my point. The SSPX are not in schism, and have never been in schism. Only six members, bishops, were ever said to have been excommunicated, but that is no longer the case. The Church says that the SSPX is in an “irregular” position in the Church - and no Catholic should go beyond that.

From the video:
If you believe, as many Catholics do, that this Consecration has already been accomplished by Pope John Paul II, we invite you to pray this Crusade for the intentions of our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI.
The main message of the video is to call Catholics to pray the Rosary. I don’t see how any Catholic could disagree with such a message.

The Holy See has also said (in the last few days) that SSPX has no canonical standing in the church, and their ministers do not exercise their ministry legitimately in in the Catholic Church.

In response to the frequent questions posed in recent days regarding the priestly ordinations of the Fraternity of Saint Pius X, scheduled for the end of June, there is nothing to add to what was affirmed by the Holy Father in his Letter to the Bishops of the Catholic Church of past March 10: “As long as the Society (of Saint Pius X) does not have a canonical status in the Church, its ministers do not exercise legitimate ministries in the Church (…) until the doctrinal questions are clarified, the Society has no canonical status in the Church, and its ministers (…) do not legitimately exercise any ministry in the Church”. The ordinations are, thus, still to be considered illegitimate.
