I know Muslims believe this following verse to be about Mohammad but they are gravely mistaken. Whether the Quran is the word of allah or not this is about Jesus:
7.157 "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet,
JESUS - had knowledge of Scripture without having to be taught by any scholars or "angels"
whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;
JESUS - prophecized in Old and New Testament
- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil;
Mark 12
29"The most important one," answered Jesus, “is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'There is no commandment greater than these.”
he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes***** that are upon them
**Jesus - BY HIS CRUCIFIXION ON THE CROSS. **
So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light
**JESUS - 4.174 O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light manifest. **
which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."
yoke***** a yoke is a wooden carrying device that makes it easier to carry a burden:
Matthew 11
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
