Hi to all. I try too show you some beautiful verses of Quran in this thread. If you think one verse is beautiful you can get it here But please don’t get here the verses you have question about them or you think that they are wrong. We can talk about these verse in another threads.
Hi Friendship, I will share some parables from Holy Bible, Hope you understand them.
The Good Samaritan

Scripture: Luke 10:25-37

25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read?” 27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered right; do this, and you will live.” 29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road; and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. 32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion, 34 and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, `Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ 36 Which of these three, do you think, proved neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” 37 He said, “The one who showed mercy on him.” And Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

I LOVE YOU TOO

This verse reminds me of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37.
What Quran says in those verses is another discussion. An infidel came to Prphet Muhammad with a bone and crashed the bone and who can give life to this? God answered the one who gave the life at first.

But Quran has a story whitch is like the story whitch came in Ezekiel 37:

And Abraham said:" My Lord, show me how you resurrect the dead." He said: Do you not already believe? relieved." He said:" Choose four birds, then cut them, then place parts of the birds on each mountain, then call them to you; they will come racing towards you. And know that God is Noble, Wise" (Quran2:260)

Quran never claims that is a new book, It claims that is tho book of Abraham and Moses(Quran87:19)

Farsi Translations? you mean they are not corrupted? Thank heavens at least the Farsi translations remained intact, cause the english ones seems to be corrupted as per most muslims. 🙂

Farsi Translations are the translation of greek bible, Whitch you use the English Translations.

I don’t believe that curreption is limited to translations, but some muslims believe so.

I know Muslims believe this following verse to be about Mohammad but they are gravely mistaken. Whether the Quran is the word of allah or not this is about Jesus:

7.157 "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet,

JESUS - had knowledge of Scripture without having to be taught by any scholars or "angels"

whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;

JESUS - prophecized in Old and New Testament
  • for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil;
Mark 12
29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'There is no commandment greater than these."

he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes***** that are upon them

**Jesus - BY HIS CRUCIFIXION ON THE CROSS. **

So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light

**JESUS - 4.174 O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light manifest. **

which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."

yoke***** a yoke is a wooden carrying device that makes it easier to carry a burden:

Matthew 11
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Hi, Thank you for looking to this thread. In this verse “یوم الفصل” is translated to “Day of Sorting Out” but it realy means “doomsday”. Translations make problems!
Doomsday? What is doomsday? Why is this particular verse “beautiful”? All it is saying is “for sure doomsday is coming!” Which is why I asked for your definition of “beautiful” is. How is this inspiring? You list your religion as love which seems unusual for a Muslim.

“Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth , (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” S. 9:29 Y. Ali

Is this a verse from the Quran? Is the Jizya required of all non-Muslims (Christians)?

Beatiful verses please! 🤷

In this verse, Quran says “الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبىِ‏َّ الْأُمِّى‏” and “الْأُمِّى‏” whitch means unlettered is the adjective for Prophet Muhammad in Quran.

on the other hand Quran says “الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبىِ‏َّ الْأُمِّى‏” whitch means “Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet” But verb is present and must mean some ones on the time of these verses. But Christians has no prophet on that time and Jesus christ is not between them to they try to follow him.

In addition these verse says: “الَّذِى يجَِدُونَهُ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فىِ التَّوْرَئةِ وَ الْانجِيل‏” Whitch means " whom they find mentioned in their own(scriptures ), - - in the Law(=Torah) and the Gospel" and all gospels written after death of jesus christ, so this verse doesn’t talk about the christ.

On the other hand, the christ Quran talks about, is not a god and he is just a prophet but christians says he is God and Quran says every one says that so he is disbilieve.(Quran5:72) So in Quran Christians are not the real followers of jesus. So this verse can’t be about chistians and the Christ.

Are christians hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth?

Now have look at these verse from the Bible:

"2 This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy [a] everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’ “” (1samuel15:2-3)

Now you answer: Why children and animal must be killed?

Friends let’s talk about beautiful vverses only

So, you justify collecting a tax from non-believers and Christians until they pay with willingly submission and feel subdued because of an Old Testament verse?

Is the tax collected of Christians in Muslim countries today?

You True, translation don’t shows the what arabic Quran says. In that verse 2 words “فصل” and “میقات”, whitch means separation and meet time. You don’t think on the time of separation you will meet some one but that’s time is the time of meet and separation. you meet the god and separation from people. I hope this explain be enough.

Not cause of all old testamen. I just tried to show you that god’s order may be with violance.

This tax is cause goverment protect them so they must give tax as muslims. muslims gave relegious taxes: khoms & zakat and christians gave jaziah.

Today, christians and muslims and atheists and zartoshtis and bahais in Iran give equal tax but muslims give khoms and zakat out of it yet.

Al-Zamakhshari, a Mu’tazili author of a commentary on the Qur’an, said that “the Jizyah shall be taken from them with belittlement and humiliation. The dhimmi shall come in person, walking not riding. When he pays, he shall stand, while the tax collector sits. The collector shall seize him by the scruff of the neck, shake him, and say “Pay the Jizyah!” and when he pays it he shall be slapped on the nape of the neck.”
Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi’s Chapter Introductions to the Quran states that Muslims were enjoined to tolerate the “misguidance” of non-Muslims “only to the extent that they might have the freedom to remain misguided if they chose to be so provided that they paid Jizyah as a sign of their subjugation to the Islamic State.”

Beatiful verses please! 🤷
There is nothing more beautiful then our Creator loving us so much that HE would send HIS WORD Incarrnate to pay for our sins.
In this verse, Quran says “الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبىِ‏َّ الْأُمِّى‏” and “الْأُمِّى‏” whitch means unlettered is the adjective for Prophet Muhammad in Quran.
Can you point out another verse where this adjective is used with Mohammad’s name?
on the other hand Quran says “الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبىِ‏َّ الْأُمِّى‏” whitch means “Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet” But verb is present and must mean some ones on the time of these verses. But Christians has no prophet on that time and Jesus christ is not between them to they try to follow him.
You are forgetting that Jesus is alive and that people have followed HIM since HE first started preaching.
The Law contains many prophecies that are fufilled in Jesus.

The Gospel was written shortly after the death of Jesus.

Mohammad was not mentioned in either the Law or Gospel, so this verse has to be about Jesus.
On the other hand, the christ Quran talks about, is not a god and he is just a prophet but christians says he is God and Quran says every one says that so he is disbilieve.(Quran5:72) So in Quran Christians are not the real followers of jesus. So this verse can’t be about chistians and the Christ.
You are correct Jesus is not a god, but a manifestation of the One True GOD. GOD’s Word Incarnate.

You brng up an interesting point but I will tell you that Christian never say the GOD is Jesus but that Jesus is GOD.

GOD is UNITY displayed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

You see Jesus did not contain all of GOD which is what the verse you list implies:

5.72 They do blaspheme who say: “Allah is Christ the son of Mary.” But said Christ: “O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.

Remember in this discussion that there is absolutely no proof that the Quran is anything more then a Bible study guide.

Please tell us how Mohammad lifted a burden off you.

Do Muslims have to give their zakat with “willing submission” and “feel themselves subdued” or “brought low” or however you want to translate it?

Who are these ones? Al-zamakhshari? Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi? Who are them? Muslim leaders? Imams? prophets from God? I don’t think so.

I as a muslim, don’t know who are them but what they said is not final idea of islam, ok?
