Why don’t you create a new thread for jaziah? We want talk about beatiful verses and not human rights!
My frinend that verse talks about " those who do not believe in God or the last day, and they do not forbid what God and His messenger have forbidden, and they do not uphold the system of truth; from among the people who have been given the scripture". Are you so?Do Muslims have to give their zakat with “willing submission” and “feel themselves subdued” or “brought low” or however you want to translate it?
It speaks of those who pay the Jizya. Are Christians required to pay the Jizya? Are Christians considered to be believers in the view of Islam? My frinend that verse talks about " those who do not believe in God or the last day, and they do not forbid what God and His messenger have forbidden, and they do not uphold the system of truth; from among the people who have been given the scripture". Are you so?
The quote tells who they were. Anyone can read more on the Jizya at this link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jizya .Who are these ones? Al-zamakhshari? Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi? Who are them? Muslim leaders? Imams? prophets from God? I don’t think so.
I as a muslim, don’t know who are them but what they said is not final idea of islam, ok?
It is your believe. I respect your believe. But I don’t agree with you. There is nothing more beautiful then our Creator loving us so much that HE would send HIS WORD Incarrnate to pay for our sins.
Absolutly! next vers!!Can you point out another verse where this adjective is used with Mohammad’s name?
I didn’t forget that Jesus is alive, I ever believe that he didn’t die yet. But the Quran that you refer to it says that you are not his real followers. I says that every one who says that he is the God, is rejecter.(Quran5:72)You are forgetting that Jesus is alive and that people have followed HIM since HE first started preaching.
I agree that the law talks about jesus but it has some verses about prophet Muhammad too. Gospels contain some verses about him, too. As I said Quran reject that you follow jesus. Jesus never said “I am God” But you belive that he is the God.The Law contains many prophecies that are fufilled in Jesus.
The Gospel was written shortly after the death of Jesus.
Mohammad was not mentioned in either the Law or Gospel, so this verse has to be about Jesus.
We don’t talk about trinity here. You are correct Jesus is not a god, but a manifestation of the One True GOD. GOD’s Word Incarnate.
You brng up an interesting point but I will tell you that Christian never say the GOD is Jesus but that Jesus is GOD.
GOD is UNITY displayed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
You see Jesus did not contain all of GOD which is what the verse you list implies:
5.72 They do blaspheme who say: “Allah is Christ the son of Mary.” But said Christ: “O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.
Remember in this discussion that there is absolutely no proof that the Quran is anything more then a Bible study guide.
What? Please tell us how Mohammad lifted a burden off you.
Stop please. I don’t know who are them, But I am a muslim! The quote tells who they were. Anyone can read more on the Jizya at this link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jizya .
I met two Catholic priests from Egypt. They enlightened me on the Jizya and it’s purpose to let those who pay it know of their subjugation to the Islamic State.
You can’t dress this up, my friend. It is, what it is…
Wasn’t that a verse from the Quran, but it’s a reality you don’t want to discuss?Stop please. I don’t know who are them, But I am a muslim!
We talk about Quran’s beatiful verses in this thread.
try to find any faults with these verses from surah maryam
16 : And mention in the Book (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east.
17 : She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.
18 : She said: “Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.”
19 : (The angel) said: “I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.”
20 : She said: “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?”
21 : He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).
22 : So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem).
23 : And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: “Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!”
24 : Then [the babe 'Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you;
25 : “And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you.”
26 : "So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.
27 : Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing).
28 : “O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman.”
29 : Then she pointed to him. They said: “How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?”
30 : “He 'Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;”
31 : “And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat(alms in charity), as long as I live.”
32 : "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.
33 : “And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!”
34 : Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).
35 : It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, “Be!” and it is.
36 : 'Iesa (Jesus) said]: “And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets).” [Tafsir At-Tabari]
37 : Then the sects differed , so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire).
you mean “sister of Aaron”, don’t you?
Yes, saint Mary(s) had no brother and her was several centries after Aaron. You must now in Arabic when they say “sister of”, “father of” may they don’t mean the one is real father of sister of the thing or one. As you say “Robert Boyle (1627-1691), was The Father of Chemistry” But you know that Chemistry has no father. In arabic we has these things too. When they call some one “Abu abdellah”(Abu=the father of, abdellah=sevant of god), they don’t mean the one is the father of all God’s servant, and they don’t mean the one is the father of some one who his name is “abdollah”. They mean that the one is a real servant for God.
About “sister of Aaron” we see another component. Aaron was a very good one and good servant for God and holy one. And they call the saint Mary(s) so, whitch means “A girl who is like Aaron”
Have a look at Thread’s name.Wasn’t that a verse from the Quran, but it’s a reality you don’t want to discuss?
Nice of you to translate those translations for us. Would you please explain what verse 37 means?you mean “sister of Aaron”, don’t you?

There is no Jizyah because there is no Jihaad, no war situation. The Muslims of Indonesia or Malaya or Egypt have not conquerred the country. The christians are already citizens of those countries. They have not undergone any pact with Muslims for peace. So the conditions for Jizyah do not exist. It speaks of those who pay the Jizya. Are Christians required to pay the Jizya? Not according to Christians living in those areas and paying the Jizyah currently…There is no Jizyah because there is no Jihaad, no war situation. The Muslims of Indonesia or Malaya or Egypt have not conquerred the country. The christians are already citizens of those countries. They have not undergone any pact with Muslims for peace. So the conditions for Jizyah do not exist.
But as the Muslims of various countries are still believing in Jihaad (holy war against non-Muslims) then who knows they may be hoping to extract Jizyah too. I do not believe in any such thing.
The verse talks about disputs between people about Jesus Christ after him. Some said he was God. Some said he was not God and just God’s prophet(like Ebionits). Some said he has not real body and never killed on crucifix(like Mrisions) and there was difference between cults.Nice of you to translate those translations for us. Would you please explain what verse 37 means?

Careful with your phrasing. What I mean is, Catholics and other Christians believe He was the Son of God, who came to earth in the flesh, died, was buried and arose on the 3rd day. We are not a ‘cult’.
Translation has some annotation! The verse doesn’t talk about you believe that Jesus is son Of God.
