I was Baptized Methodist as an infant. I married Catholic and am raising our children Catholic. What do I need to do to become a part of the Catholic community?
All you need to do is undergo RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). My wife was a former Methodist also. You have to dedicate yourself at least once or twice a week for night classes on Catholicism. The entire process usually takes about a year - give or take.I was Baptized Methodist as an infant. Welcome, Lis. Eventhough you decided not to join RCIA, you did the right thing, for the sake of the children. You chose to set aside yourself, so the Children will not confused between Catholicism and Methodist. That is a very kind of you. You already are a Catholic to me.I was Baptized Methodist as an infant. I married Catholic and am raising our children Catholic. What do I need to do to become a part of the Catholic community?
