Begging prayers for my niece

Fellow Prayer Warriors - please keep Gavin in your prayers. He has fluid on his brain and will be undergoing brain surgery. He stopped breathing the night before and is back on life support. One bit of good news, my sister informed me that they use a scale to measure the amount of neurological damage that could happen. I really don’t have a clue what this is, but Gavin falls between 2 - 4 with anything over 4 not being good. Chances are he may not have any long term damage…God willing. Please keep Crystle in your prayers also. She is crying a lot because she feels so helpless and is in Texas without any family to support her. My sister is flying there tonight and will be spending the next 2 weeks there so that she can be with them…praying that she will have safe travel.

Thank you for your kind words Mary ann R but we are just doing what our Lord said: “Love one another as I love you”. I wish I could do more but that is the least I can do for you. I pray to GOD the almighty for Crystal, Gavin and baby will be together soon as a family and I have faith in our sweet Lord that it will happen.

May our Lord bless you abundantly.

Lord, Your mercy endures forever! The operation went well and Gavin is doing pretty good. He is being treated for an infection, though. Praise God and thank you Mother Mary. Our prayers are being answered. Thank you so very much!

Loving Creator God, through the trials and tribulations of this life, Your promise remains as the foundation of our faith. In Your mighty and merciful works, we see the love that has been Your constant Covenant with man. May this love be transformed into increasing health of mind, of body and of spirit of both Crystal and Gavin, so that Your Name be praised to highest Heaven and to the ends of this earth. Graciously increase both our faith and our thanksgiving to You for your mercy and love. You alone, Lord, are our hope and our salvation. May we reflect on the miracle of Gavin’s life, and may Crystal experience the love that Blessed Mary had as she gazed upon the newborn Savior of the world. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen, Alleluia!

Both are, and will remain in our prayers.

Just wanted to update everyone on Gavin’s condition. Gavin coded about 2 weeks ago and they had to intubate him, but he made it, thank the good Lord. The shunt that was placed in his skull was infected with e-coli and had to be removed. Once they removed the shunt he started to heal beautifully. The Dr said that he probably won’t need the shunt ever again. He is up to 3 lbs 4 oz. They started a c-pap - on for 3 hrs off for 3 hrs. Good news is that the Dr said he will most likely be released the end of April.

Father, we thank you for all you have done for baby Gavin, and his earthly family, and all you have yet to do. Praise be to you Lord!

Continue to pour out your love and mercy on him Lord, and grant this tiny child of yours the strength of your love, that he may grow in body and spirit as a testament to your eternal glory.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Dear Lord watch over Gavin and build him up physically and let him grow healthy and strong . Lord thank you for healing him and blessing him . Lord, teach us to value every moment of our lives, which is Your precious gift to us. Help us to appreciate each other and the love we have for one another, as it is a reflection of the love You have for us. In the time that has elapsed since You brought Gavin forth, You alone have sustained him, providing a mantle of love to surround him. Look with Divine Mercy upon him and his family as they seek peace and comfort in Your arms, O Lord. Graciously incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Your Blessed Son on Gavin’s behalf. May the prayers of the Angels and Saints rise to Your Throne like incense from the altar. Grant great compassion to the doctors, nurses and technicians who care for him, revealing Your love to those around them. Strengthen his loving family and draw them together in faith as they gaze Heavenward for inspiration and hope. May they place all faith and trust in You as they exalt Your Name to highest Heaven. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
