Hello all,
I am looking for some help for ways that I can be very traditional in my Catholicism while not being able to make it to an Extraordinary Form Mass. I want to know some prayers, spiritual exercises, books, &c., that can increase my devotion to God while increasing my traditionalism.
I know it would start with like pray the rosary only 15 decades not 20. Or, pray it in Latin. I love the Latin language and I am pretty good with it so that would be no real problem.
Any suggestions or ways that I can be more traditional would be appreciated.
How about are there any EF Parishes that do video broadcasts of the mass online?

I would also consider finding out more and possibly joining the
Confraternitas Sancti Petri.
Personally, I have done all of the above, and I always pray in Latin the Rosary and in general all major prayers. I try to pray the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin (though I haven’t switched to the Latin one yet - provided by FSSP) and in the Compline I recite the Confiteor in Latin.
The Holy Hour is definitely a practice worth incorporating to your prayer life.
About Mass:
I personally always receive Communion kneeling, on the tongue. This is fully allowed and still the official way to receive Communion in the Church (as per the Instruction
Memoriale Domini on the Manner of Distributing Holy Communion) although in the US it is allowed to receive Communion in the hand by a special dispensation requested to and granted by the Holy See. Other little nuisances I keep in mind: genuflection when Blessed Sacrament is exposed, kneeling when passing in front of the tabernacle, slow sign of the cross, bow of head every time the name of Jesus is mentioned, not holding but rather folding hands during Pater Noster.
Also, it used to be the case that at least the Minor Orders were required to touch the Sacred Vessels. This is why, serving in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, we wear gloves when preparing for the Mass. Because of this, I refrain from receiving Communion from the Chalice. This practice is quite new, for Communion under both species was not a characteristic of the tradition of the Latin church, and in the Eastern rites is done exclusively by intinction.
I have found it beneficial sometimes to participate in the Mass of Eastern Catholic rites to experience the delightful diversity of the traditional liturgy. The Byzantine rite is an experience worth living - just make sure the Church is actually an Eastern Catholic in full communion with Rome - ex, Melkite.
Ah…and keep away from ultra-traditionalist groups, websites, etc. They are no good. We must always pray for our Holy Father and recall the words of the great Jerome:
Ego nullum primum, nisi Christum sequens … cathedrae Petri, cummunione consciour. Super illam Petram aedificatam Ecclesiam scio.
I follow no leader other than Christ, and I communicate with none but … with the chair of Peter. This I know to be the Rock on which the Church is built.
