At Good Friday Liturgies, I have heard both “Behold the Wood of the Cross, on which hung the Savior of the World” and “Behold the Wood of the Cross on which hung the Salvation of the World.”
Is either one of those more correct or traditional than the other? Or is there no difference (since Christ is, after all, our Salvation)?
Thanks
