Amen to those loose body parts. I haven’t seen Nigella’s show yet. Don’t think I care to.You are most definately not alone. What I find most ironic is that the FoodNetwork target audience in female. Why do they think we would want to watch Giada’s cleavage swinging around the linguini? Why does Nigella whisper seductively into the camera when she is talking about scrambled eggs? And how many flambouantly gay friends can Ina Garten possibly have???
I enjoy Guy Fieri as well as Bobby Flay because they are COOKS! I enjoy Iron Chef because they are COOKING! I don’t need dippy background music, “artsy” camera work, or loose body parts to liven up my cooking shows. Oh Lord, for the good old days of Julia Child!
