Why don’t the U.S. Bishops understand this? They rightfully make a statement about the reception of the Eucharist that states if you are not a Catholic, you may not recieve the Eucharist under normal conditions.

Isn’t it insulting to all other Christians that the Bishops say that *they *are unworthy of recieving Holy Communion when a “Catholic” who promotes abortion rights is allowed?

My Methodist Grandmother was more Catholic than some of these “Catholics”.

I have to agree with you. When Kerry came to Arkansas in '04, the Bishop was asked if he would be given communion if he attended Mass. The Diocese official spokesman said, “We don’t want to put pressure on politicians.”

I have pointed out again and again that every Catholic church in the land has people in the pews who cannot take communion – because they have divorced and remarried, because they are married to Catholics and so on.

Yet we don’t want to put pressure on the politicians.

This proves there are two Catholic Churches – one for ordinary people like you and I, and another one for the rich and powerful.
