Intended to be used for religious education classes in Catholic schools, the text, a portion of which has been obtained by LifeSiteNews.com (LSN), includes a drawing of a naked infant girl, captioned to show her saying she welcomed stroking of her genitals, “I like to take my knickers off with friends,” and “I want to be in the room when mum and dad have sex.” The illustration also shows a naked little boy and girl “playing doctor.” The little boy says, “Look, my willy is big.”

This report is provocative, sensational, and difficult to accept in its entirety. I don’t seek to read salacious material, but I’d like to be able to review all the offending portions of the “catechism.”

:eek::eek::eek:

What!!!

That sounds almost to outrageous to be true!
That is SO sick and twisted!

If it IS true… then the Church in Belgium truly is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
I weep for the children… I weep for our church… I weep for the world…😦

And pray for the Pope that he can regain some kind of control over the shepherds of the Church.

This was brought up in another thread. I am still waiting, and waiting and waiting, for this story to be verified. Lifesitesnews has proven unreliable in the past and there is only one news source so far.

…and waiting, and waiting.

It does seem strange that such a juicy story is not all over the media front and center.

I live in Belgium and this is not in our news (papers or tv) and believe me, they would JUMP on it right now with the feelings about the Church.

When you do a Dutch language search for recent stories involving Alexandra Colen, the most recent are about the elections in June. Nothing about this.

Anything is possible but I find it really, really suspect that the “Brussels Journal” is in English and “Alexandra Colen”'s article is in English. She belongs to the Vlaams Belang, which is all about Flemish solidarity, language, etc in a very “hardcore” way. She would be writing in Dutch. I don’t see a translator listed either.

The Vlaams Belang, being ultra right wing, is also something the media would not hesitate to jump on. So you have a liberal Belgian media that is not fond of the Church or Colen…and they have not said a word about this? You’d think they’d be all over it. No Belgian I have asked even knows what “The Brussels Journal” is.

Also, I have friends with kids in Catholic school currently and in the 90’s, and this is not the Catechism any of their children were shown or taught. Maybe they were lucky, or maybe this is like that story about the Chinese eating “fetus soup”.

alexandracolen.nu/

That’s her website.

Fascinating. The one article in English is “The Fall of the Belgian Church.” In it she reveals what the recent Church turned up, even though nothing has been release. Wow! I had my doubts before. Now I suspect a female version of Jack Chick.
Because she knows two languages or because she’s Right Wing?

(sorry, don’t know how to make the letters of “right wing” bleed or have scary music accompany them)

The cartoon looks a little Chick-ish, and I have no knowledge of her politics. However, her blog has one article only in English, and that is the one on the Catholic Church. One.

And try “Bum, bum, buuuuuuuum!”

Thank you for posting this. The prior thread on this topic disappeared after a couple of days, several questions were raised in that thread as to the veracity of the single-sourced story, and one must question the motives behind the re-posting of the story given its outrageous accusations and lack of independent verification. Those posting the original story - twice - would have us believe that for 13 years the Belgian bishops sanctioned a catechism that encouraged children to watch their parents having sex. A “Catholic Jack Chick” indeed, as opined by another poster.

I understand why this topic arose. There was a reference to the story on Lifesitenews. There is an understandable attraction to a site that is an ally in the abortion fight. Unfortunately, the people there are not journalist and often slant their editorials. I also have suspected that those that run it are not too keen on Catholics. After all, this story has nothing to do with abortion, euthanasia or other life issues, yet they posted it as though it were gospel.

I am so disgusted by your arrogance on this matter. With a crisis of sexual abuse within the catholic church, one would think that anything of this kind of serious matter in which children are being allegedly exposed to, would make you look hard for any verification of such. Instead, you arrogantly sit on your pedestal, demanding others find you a reliable source. If you cared enough, you would be digging for it yourself.

In searching the net, I have seen pages full of this headline. What I fail to understand, is why haven’t the Vatican or the Belgium bishops denied such allegations. In not doing so, they only allow this to gather more and more energy, and so more suspicion is cast upon them. The onus lay with them to come forward with “any” kind of statement, oh, and preferably before the decade ends.

Babes.

P.S. “bang, bang” ??? -*** when*** are you catholic boys ever going to grow up???🤷

What can I say excpet, one can not prove a negative in a vacuum. I have searched, as have others, and found nothing. The only person from Belgium says there is nothing mainstream covered. There have still been no arrests. Your posts illogically assumes you are right without one shred of evidence.

I think your anger, for whatever reason you have it, has blinded you to thinking. If you have something of substance to say about the issue, as opposed to me personally, please do so. Until then, I can do nothing but say that I am sorry you have so much bitterness.

FYI - Here is today’s search in Google for news on this. There is still nothing about this alleged manual or any arrest from the raid three weeks ago.

news.google.com/news/search?aq=f&pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&q=Belgium+catholic+church

When a person is questioned for ten hours, it ceases to be a inquiry and becomes an interrogation.

'Bitterness’ is not the word I would use, but deep seated anger at the continual cover-ups the heirachy has been shown to be guilty of. If you didn’t notice, I used the word ‘alleged’, and was simply invoking the parties responsible to come forward and make a statement, regardless of whether it is in the mainstream media or not, but because the net is crawling with the topic. One would be led to believe such serious allegations as these would be addressed immediately to quell any further suspicion in a world environment that is fed up to the back teeth with the cover-ups that have gone on already.

I apologise if you are taking this personally, but I think that the welfare of children is at higher stake here, and if we are seen to say nothing, then we become an unconscious participant of such dark deeds.

Babes.
