Jesus did not say, here is a symbol that you can remember me with when you choose to.

He said, do this in memory of me.

Some have short memories.🤷
Oh I agree 100% with that. That is why I take the blood and body of christ.

that is hardly much of a defense now is it? How does that support at all catholics claim that only they have the right to receive the blood and bread of christ. Jesus meant for all who believed in him to come to him and receive his body and blood.
But the point is made, no?

What is the reality of it all…is that while you may feel justified in what you are doing…the Church and its adherents take a different point of view…entirely.

But its your soul and salvation…

But you don’t understand I already am saved I did an alter call at a baptist church remember?

Actions have consequences.

Think very hard, and be very sure, that you are ready to accept those consequences, now and in the life to come.

Right now you are preparing for where you will be spending eternity–Heaven or Hell.

Be careful that you aren’t guilty of the sins of presumption or despair.

Those who despair think that there is no way that they can ‘do’ God’s will and so ‘give up’ because it is ‘too hard’, or they don’t think there’s any ‘point’, so why not just do what they like. . .‘eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die.’

Those who are presumptuous do think there is a point. They think there is eternal life. They also think that no matter what, they’re ‘in’, because “God wouldn’t want me to suffer for eternity just because I made a few on earth”. Again, they’ll do just what they like because, “It’ll all be all right, God understands me.”

And these are both mortal sins. They both assume that ‘doing what one wants’ is more important than doing what God wants. . .for the one, because ‘what God wants is too hard’ and for the other, because ‘what God wants isn’t as important as what I want.’

So the person has cut God out of his life either way. No communication with God --no listening to God (because the person thinks He doesn’t exist, or that He doesn’t really care or pay attention), no speaking to God (same ‘reasons’). If the person doesn’t have God as a part of his life on EARTH, he surely will not have God as a part of his life AFTER DEATH.

God help you.

One drinks a cup of judgement against themselves for doing it in a manner that is not in agreement with his instruction on this.

I think John states it, but I have to unload the dishwasher now.

Freemasonry isn’t a belief system. It’s a social club for men. If they let women and atheists join, maybe I would consider it. Though as it is, I’m more a fan of the hardcore occult, anyway, which is sorely lacking in modern masonry.
Women can be in freemasonry. Its called something else…

I am a non christian who was a non millitant athiest.

I still disagree with your relativism.

This is a picture of someone who attempted to assimilate more than one “theology” into his mind:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

As you can see…it was quite successful…😛

yep fully intend to be going to RCIA very shortly
And do what exactly. Study something you don’t want to fully believe in? Take a course where you will reject of your choice what you personally can’t see it in the Bible?

You will never be a Catholic even if you do go through the rituals when your intent to not be in full Communion with the Teachings of the Catholic Church is clear. You may deceive the Priest who may think you have good intentions but not God.

I actually question if you are not just some anti Catholic trying to stir the pot in this forum for your own personal enjoyment.

Tsuzuki;4130731**:
I don’t see anything
.

Matthew 13:11-13 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: **because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.**Luke 8:9-10 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, **Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. **
Mark 4:11-12 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all
these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
John 16:12-14 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

I was not aware that a crazy looking cartoon cat was one of the mysteries of the kingdom of God. Though, I suppose it could be.
Its not…
Really, the image does not show up in my browser. I had to copy and paste the link to see it.
Sorry…thats odd, because when you quoted it back…it showed up in the “quoted text box”… maybe its the settings in your browser.

Sublime,
Two simple, logical quesitons. If multiple denominations were needed to reach God, why did Jesus found one adn only one Church? Why did he pray that “they be one” as he and the Father are one?

He never did this you error my friend. Peter is the rock that spread the word of Jesus and upon his spreading the word christianity was born. Jesus Church is all christianity.

So I don’t understand is this scripture suppose to support the catholics church claim to peter as the founder of catholicism or refute it? You don’t make that very clear.
