Benefits to Communion on tongue

That’s denigrating and insulting. Hopefully, someone will contact the Diocese.
 
Glad you have found a way to more prayerfully receive communion 🙂
Personally, I have received both ways. I started receiving on the tongue after an injury and I liked how it was a reminder that we were being fed and that we were not receiving ordinary bread! It was also nice not having to worry about particles being left behind…
However, I am not the most coordinated person and so receiving on the tongue always made me nervous. Never actually had the host drop, but had a few close calls and the potential of that happening distracted me. Now that my injury is better I mostly receive in the hand, making my hands a throne for Jesus, and check my hands afterwards for particles.
