At my parish people come and go throughout all parts of the service. Sometimes you just can’t wait.
The kid was protesting, “Already had bath” as he tried to squirm from his mother.Better to have a bath before or after mass than during.
That seems to be very common. I don’t know why. It’s what, all of about two minutes?I personally try to avoid walking around in the church during the Consecration.
I have IBS, but that’s never been a problem during Sunday Masses, possibly because I get up and have breakfast four hours before 1100 Mass begins. I suspect I would definitely have problems if it were my habit to sleep as late as possible and get up just in time to make it. I have learned to plan ahead.That would be bad for someone with irritable bowel issues.
Yeah, some people have it a lot worse than I do. I consider myself fortunate, and I feel for those who have it worse, remembering times when mine wasn’t that well controlled.Glad that your IBS is manageable.
