Which would be the best authority on the soul in the church? Possibly Aquianus or Tertullian? Maybe another? Did teresa of Avilla say anything?

I can’t seem to find his writings online. Like the Summa is at www.newadvent.org I heard he was lustful in his earlier days btw.

Oh, he had quite a struggle with sin. One of the premiere fathers of the Church. You may have to purchase hard copies of his writings, though.
