I took my family out to a second handstore (thrift store) today to look for some Bibles.(I keep having to give them away)
By husband looked through the shelves while I was waiting for our daughter (in the restroom) I came out and asked “Did you find anything?”
He said “No theres nothing good.”
So I decided to look at what else they might have.
Guess what I found?
An Ignatius Press Catholic Bible hardback $2.99!
I showed it to him and asked him “Whats wrong with this one?”
He looked at me and said 'That was not there!" he laughed and just shook his head.
We have been experiencing some wonderful things by the Grace of God! So his reaction was funny.
I continued looking and I thought the shelves need to be straightened. (No I don’t have a problem. Being neat is not a problem.) So while straightening the shelf I saw a black book medium in size and I picked it up. It had HOLY BIBLE in gold with a cross on it. I thought King James Vesion. Guess what, nope!
It was a Douay-Rheims Version still in the plastic!!!:dancing:
the original price? $35.99!!!
I got it for $6.99!!!
:extrahappy: :extrahappy: :extrahappy:
OOH and when I showed it to my husband?
He just kept laughing and shaking his head saying that wasn’t there!

Praise be to God
