Oh, it already is happening. While surfing the TX State website, I found these “scholarly” works (emphasis mine):

“An Examination of Mexican American Children’s Musical and Cultural Identity.”

Apparently this lady has a masters in Ethnomusicology. Ethnomusicology? 🤨

Dr. Soto’s research interests include cultural diversity and social justice in music education, bimusical sensibilities of children, world music pedagogy, technology in music education, and the study of regional musics of South Texas and Mexican music.

The indoctrination is happening even in music.
 
I don’t know what to think of that. I’d have to look into it to comment.

I will say that after my conversations and encounters with Hispanics the past few years, all instances have been pleasant.
