There are two Manuscripts. These are old.

Codex Vaticanus, and Codex Sinaiticus.

Codex Sinaiticus (Shelfmarks and references: London, Brit. Libr., Additional 43725; Gregory-Aland nº א (Aleph) or 01, Soden δ 2) is one of the most important hand-written ancient copies of the Greek Bible. It was written in the 4th century, in uncial letters. It was found in the 19th century at the Greek Monastery of Mount Sinai, and most of it is today in the British Library.[1] Originally it contained the whole of both Testaments. The Greek Old Testament (i.e. Septuagint) survived almost complete, along with a complete New Testament, plus the Epistle of Barnabas, and portions of The Shepherd of Hermas.

The Codex Vaticanus (The Vatican, Bibl. Vat., Vat. gr. 1209; Gregory-Aland no. B or 03, Soden δ 1) is one of the oldest and most valuable extant manuscripts of the Greek Bible. It is likely slightly older than Codex Sinaiticus[1], both of which were probably transcribed in the 4th century. It is written in Greek, on vellum, with uncial letters. Because it was not often used, it has survived to the present day in very good condition.

Vaticanus originally contained a complete copy of the Septuagint (“LXX”) except for 1-4 Maccabees and the Prayer of Manasseh. Genesis 1:1 - 46:28a (31 leaves) and Psalm 105:27 — 137:6b (10 leaves) are lost and have been filled by a recent hand. 2 Kings 2:5-7, 10-13 are also lost due to a tear in one of the pages. The order of the Old Testament books is as follows: Genesis to 2 Chronicles as normal, 1 Esdras, 2 Esdras (Ezra-Nehemiah), the Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Job, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus, Esther, Judith, Tobit, the minor prophets from Hosea to Malachi, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Baruch, Lamentations and the Epistle of Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel.

The extant New Testament of Vaticanus contains the Gospels, Acts, the General Epistles, the Pauline Epistles and the Epistle to the Hebrews (up to Heb 9:14, καθαριει); thus it lacks 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon and Revelation. These missing pages were replaced by a 15th century minuscule supplement (no. 1957).

A section of the Codex Vaticanus, containing 1 Esdras 2:1-8The Greek is written continuously with small neat writing, later retraced by a 10th (or 11th) century scribe. Punctuation is rare (accents and breathings have been added by a later hand) except for some blank spaces, diaeresis on initial iotas and upsilons, abbreviations of the nomina sacra and markings of OT citations.

The manuscript contains mysterious double dots (so called “umlauts”) in the margin of the New Testament, which seem to mark places of textual uncertainty. There are 795 of these in the text and around another 40 that are uncertain. The date of these markings are disputed among scholars and are discussed in a link below[2]. Two such “umlauts” can be seen in the left margin of the first column (top image).

On page 1512, next to Hebrews 1:3, the text contains an interesting marginal note, “Fool and knave, can’t you leave the old reading alone and not alter it!”—“ἀμαθέστατε καὶ κακέ, ἄφες τὸν παλαιόν, μὴ μεταποίει” which suggests that inaccurate copying, either intentional or unintentional, was a known problem in scriptoriums.[3] The uppermost picture of this article shows the page where this remark is found (In the middle of the yellow page, between 1st and 2nd column).

There was scripture before Jesus. By what authority?
He gave us his letter. I read it. It is the letter where he says nothing about some so called bishop in Rome being the head of the church. You should believe him. I know I do.
And you didn’t answer my question: What did Peter do to “always remind” them of the things he taught?

One: There was the Old Testament before Jesus. The New Testament didn’t exist until at least 10-15 years after His death.

Do you follow the Old Testament alone?

Do you not realize that Peter was martyred in Rome, as was Paul? Do you need to be shown their tombs in Rome?

If Paul had left men with his authority as an apostle, as scripture records that he did(Titus 1:5; 2 Tim 2:2; 1 Tim 4:11 & 16;), would not Peter do the same?

This is a Preterist understanding. I am a dispensationalist. You are way off.
So? I’m just trying to prove to you that Apostolic Succession is real. You would not have the Bible had it not been for the Catholic Church.

You cannot even prove that the Catholic Church did not exist during the time of the Apostles.

I have never said that those two councils did not include the deuterocanonical books
They did.
You appear to have no idea what I am talking about. The LXX at the time of Jesus Manny. Not right now!!!
The LXX did. There was no Council that gave a definition of what part of Scripture was inspired. It was not until the African Councils deemed it so like the Council of Carthage and Hippo.
Jesus, Paul, all say there was scripture prior to any council in Africa. BY WHAT AUTHORITY WAS THERE SCRIPTURE PRIOR TO CHRIST??
Or do you believe the Bible?
Today you would say Scripture contains both OT and NT. In those days, there were only OT from the Jews. The authority of the Jews was taken away when Jesus founded his Church upon Peter.

The authority of the Bible can only be so because Jesus gave the Church authority. First in the Local Synods in the 4th Century followed by Council of Florence and then Council of Trent.
just pointing out that so called sacred tradition started the first split. We have never split. I am not responsible for anyone outside of my church. How could I be?
"
Likewise, Bible alone split Protestantism into different sects with contradictory beliefs.

I just said that how many posts ago?!?!?!
300 years after the time of Christ they do not have the same books. They were in flux. You either lack background knowledge or are attempting to change the topic.
I would say you lack the knowledge was well. You still have not proven that Scripture ALONE is the sole rule of faith.

Where in the bible is the word “dispensationalist”?

No Catholic has ever answered. By what authority?? It is important please answer if you can.
It is important.
God’s authority, whom he handed this authority to his Church.

2 Sam. 7:16; Psalm 89:3-4; 1 Chron.17:12,14 - God promises to establish the Davidic kingdom forever on earth.

Matt. 1:1 - Matthew clearly establishes this tie of David to Jesus. Jesus is the new King of the new House of David, and the King will assign a chief steward to rule over the house while the King is in heaven.

Luke 1:32 - the archangel Gabriel announces to Mary that her Son would be given “the throne of His father David.”

Matt. 16:19 - Jesus gives Peter the “keys of the kingdom of heaven.” While most Protestants argue that the kingdom of heaven Jesus was talking about is the eternal state of glory (as if Peter is up in heaven letting people in), the kingdom of heaven Jesus is speaking of actually refers to the Church on earth. In using the term “keys,” Jesus was referencing Isaiah 22 (which is the only place in the Bible where keys are used in the context of a kingdom).

Isaiah 22:22 - in the old Davidic kingdom, there were royal ministers who conducted the liturgical worship and bound the people in teaching and doctrine. But there was also a Prime Minister or chief steward of the kingdom who held the keys. Jesus gives Peter these keys to His earthly kingdom, the Church. This representative has decision-making authority over the people - when he shuts, no one opens. See also Job 12:14.

Rev. 1:18; 3:7; 9:1; 20:1 - Jesus’ “keys” undeniably represent authority. By using the word “keys,” Jesus gives Peter authority on earth over the new Davidic kingdom, and this was not seriously questioned by anyone until the Protestant reformation 1,500 years later after Peter’s investiture.

Matt. 16:19 - whatever Peter binds or looses on earth is bound or loosed in heaven / when the Prime Minister to the King opens, no one shuts. This “binding and loosing” authority allows the keeper of the keys to establish “halakah,” or rules of conduct for the members of the kingdom he serves. Peter’s “keys” fit into the “gates” of Hades which also represent Peter’s pastoral authority over souls.

Matt. 23:2-4 - the “binding and loosing” terminology used by Jesus was understood by the Jewish people. For example, Jesus said that the Pharisees “bind” heavy burdens but won’t move (“loose”) them with their fingers. Peter and the apostles have the new binding and loosing authority over the Church of the New Covenant.

Matt. 13:24-52 -Jesus comparing the kingdom of heaven to a field, a mustard seed, leaven, and a net demonstrate that the kingdom Jesus is talking about is the universal Church on earth, not the eternal state of glory. Therefore, the keys to the “kingdom of heaven” refers to the authority over the earthly Church.

Matt. 25:1-2 - Jesus comparing the kingdom of heaven to ten maidens, five of whom were foolish, further shows that the kingdom is the Church on earth. This kingdom cannot refer to the heavenly kingdom because there are no fools in heaven!

Mark 4:26-32 - again, the “kingdom of God” is like the seed which grows and develops. The heavenly kingdom is eternal, so the kingdom to which Peter holds the keys of authority is the earthly Church.

Luke 9:27 - Jesus says that there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the “kingdom of God.” This kingdom refers to the earthly kingdom of Christ, which Jesus established by His death and resurrection on earth.

Luke 13:19-20 - again, Jesus says the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed which grew into a tree. This refers to the earthly Church which develops over time, from an acorn to an oak tree (not the heavenly state of glory which is boundless and infinite).

Matt 12:28; Mark 1:15; Luke 11:20; 17:21 - these verses provide more examples of the " kingdom of God" as the kingdom on earth which is in our midst.

1 Chron. 28:5 - Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord. This shows that the “kingdom of God” usually means an earthly kingdom.

1 Chron. 29:23 - Solomon sits on the throne of the Lord as king in place of King David. The throne of God refers to the earthly kingdom.

Matt. 16:19 - Peter holds keys to this new Davidic kingdom and rules while the real King of David (Jesus) is in heaven.

Luke 12:41-42 - when Peter asks Jesus if the parable of the master and the kingdom was meant just for the apostles or for all people, Jesus rhetorically confirms to Peter that Peter is the chief steward over the Master’s household of God. “Who then, (Peter) is that faithful and wise steward whom his master will make ruler over His household…?”

Ezek. 37:24-25 - David shall be king over them forever and they will have one shepherd. Jesus is our King, and Peter is our earthly shepherd.

Where in the bible is the word “dispensationalist”?
1Cr 9:17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation [of the gospel] is committed unto me.
Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:
Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

My church has never split. Manny your church split. 1054. Polish National Catholic. Old Catholic split. One after another.

The LXX did not fall out of the Greek sky Manny. Either admit you do not know or go on. It was in flux.
In those times there was no Council that affirm it. It was the Church council that claimed Scripture to be inspired in the first place.
Is that your answer? What authority? Who?? Who?? Who??
God has the final authority. Not the Bible. The Holy Spirit guided the Church to bind and loose, so that the NT text would be consider inspired.
Not correct. Keep trying to talk me out of it.
According to who?
Who cares? I do not go to those churches. Never have. I go to my church and we never split. We are not part of any church but follow only the Bible. My church has never split.
You did split. There are 33,000 Protestant sects of you who have contradictory beliefs. Some of you believe in Real Presence and some of you do not. You seen to have a Holy Spirit who contradict Himself.

So which Protestant Church is the correct one? None. Only the Catholic Church got it RIGHT. Everyone else is WRONG.

My church has never split. Manny your church split. 1054. Polish National Catholic. Old Catholic split. One after another.
Yours did in 1530-1545. You are Protestant PERIOD!

The Eastern Orthodox Church did split but the Catholic Church remain. It’s still here and it will be here until the end of time.

EXACTLY!!!1

The word dispensation is in the Bible. A dispensationalist understands that.
No it is not. Where is it in the Bible? What Chapter and What verse.

Dispensationalism is a Christian theological view of history and Biblical interpretation that became popular during the 1800s and early 1900s and is held today by many conservative Protestants. It supplies an interpretive grid for understanding the flow of the Bible as a whole, and it is frequently contrasted with opposing views such as Covenant Theology, where the fundamental difference is the relationship between the nations of Israel and Judah on the one hand and the Christian Church on the other.

Cyrus Scofield is the founder of Dispensationist.

As you can see, this Dispensationist is not founded in the Bible but its American product.

My church!! That is wrong. My church never split. We were not around in 1530-1545.

No way. We never split. I am not a Nazarene. I am not a Baptist. I am not a Lutheran. What a joke Manny! You cannot make things up. Who cares about them??? Why should I??? I do not belong to those churches. I belong to my church. We never split. EVER. It never happened. You are deluding yourself. I have nothing to do with Lutherans. I have nothing to do with Presbyterians.
