As a matter of fact Jesus said, “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” Matt 7:6
Yes, He did. So, how do we know? Who are the dogs and swine and who are not?

Now, Jesus was speaking to Jewish people who had a habit of calling non-Jews dogs and swine. Does that mean we should not give pearls of wisdom to anyone who is not Jewish?

🤷

No. I’ll give you a hint, his/her user ame is “luc fur” sound familiar? This person doesn’t care what answers you give, you’re just an indocrinated yuppy to them. There’s a reason why denying the HolySpirit is the most unforgivable sin, because you become full of resentmet and stay that way. This person coul care less if you’ve prooved the entirety of the existance of God.

To the original poster, I wish to express my sincere concern and extend to you the certainty that God loves you and wishes nothing more than the salvation of your immortal soul. I pray that you have a peaceful and joyous Christmas season, and that this new year will bring you a revelation that God’s hand is outstretched toward you.

Perhaps. But I’m thinking I just don’t have enough information to make an equitable judgment. Though I suppose it’s possible that God has revealed something to you about her hidden thoughts that he has not shown to me.

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

(1 Corinthians 4:5)

Amen, Miss Linda!

👍

Perhaps the poster will return one day to thoughtfully discuss the issue. I pray you or I will be there when she does. May God bless you.

🙂

This is stupid. Bible “contradictions” are just an imature acusation by skeptics to try and get people to distrust the Bible. Basically what they do is they take something completely out of context and say “oh, well that contradicts (other verse here)” It’s an imature little game of ignorance. Not only that, when you explain it to them aparently it isn’t good enough. We’re just desperate delusioned apologetics twisting the game of interpritation.
Correct. 👍
Based on experience, most of the ‘contradictions’ and ‘illogicalities’ that rabid skeptics post up on the 'net consist of:
  • Misuse of and basing one’s arguments on a translation (preferably ones written in more archaic English, like the KJV)
  • Ignorance of the linguistic, historical, and cultural setting of the Biblical text
  • Pure argument by outrage.
