Forcing a confrontation when they present themselves for the Eucharist (if they do). Biden has to go, Pelosi does not. Obama thumbing his nose at faithful Catholics. Gee, that never happens.

I think we should consider them to simply be representing the USA rather than American Catholicism. Especially since I don’t think there really is such a beast. Catholics who live in the US, yes. Or in the case of these buffons - CINOs who live in the US. :rolleyes:

Cowboys don’t have indelible marks made on their souls by the Sacrament of Baptism. Catholics do, regardless if they are Catholic enough for you or not. The Church considers anyone Baptised Catholic to be Catholic till the end of their days, and it doesn’t even matter what those people think of themselves. Baptised Catholic = Catholic. This is a teaching of the Church.

Proabortion politicians can not present themselves for Communion. This is my point.

Look, I couldn’t care less if they go. They had better not present themselves for Communion, though.

I hope so. Look, this is the problem. Obviously, if they present themselves to the Pope or someone who knows them, no. But what if they present themselves to a priest that does not recognize them? It could cause scandal.

Sadly they will, I pray Pope Francis will put out an APB on the American delegation and instruct all priests and deacons aiding in mass. Do not allow communion for these.

Public support of intrinsic evils means they should be refused Holy Communion if they are bold enough to present themselves for Communion. They are a scandalous lot!

I would like to think that at a Mass as important as this one that an announcement will be made that one must be a Catholic in good standing to receive communion (I mean if it was made at my wedding, I have to think it will be made at this Mass). Hopefully, they will listen.

Personally, I think they want to see what our Pope Francis will do when it comes time to receive Holy Communion.

Can you imagine the glorious statement to everyone in the Church that can be made if our Holy Father denies both of them Holy Communion? 🙂
