TONGANOXIE, Kansas, Oct 28, 2005 – Over 100 motorcycle riders showed up at the funeral of another Kansas soldier Thursday. The bikers were trying to shield his family from protesting members of Fred Phelp’s radical Topeka church.
Code:
They call themselves the "Patriot Guard," and this time their mission meant an early morning start. Mulvane American Legion riders lead the trip to Tonganoxie, Kansas and the funeral of soldier, Lucas France.

"We’re all veterans and we’re just upset about it," said rider Terry Houck.

:amen: At least now that all of this is going on, they are starting to pass laws in some States that you can’t protest w/in a certain distance of a funeral and in some places, not before, during or after. I certainly hope those “protestors” are ashamed of themselves and thank God for those bikers. God bless them.

I’d like to post something in this thread. but without the other side, I’m really going nowhere.

Thank you, bikers.

Good I am glad they are passing those laws! That behavior is repugnant. Those Bikers need a standing ovation, anyone else that lives near these guys ought to join them and if that guy can’t be heard maybe he will stop this abhorant behavior.:nope:

I hate to say this, but it’s just a matter of time before some distraught family member or veteran snaps and takes out this misguided hatemonger masquerading as a Christian.

I agree what he is doing is not only hateful but dngerous because that could very well cause someone to snap.:nope:

I would love to see a large daily protest surrounding this “church”. About 50,000 people chanting 24 hours a day may make them think twice about their evil actions. Let them feel what they have been dishing out for a change.

Now theres a thought! 👍

No matter how much one is against our ops in Iraq, a funeral is not the proper place to protest. The White House, yes, a funeral, not.

Funny, their website calls for leaders of the world to reinstate the death penalty for homosexuality as defined in Leviticus.

now id love to go meet them at their church, examine their clothes, and see if they are wearing cloth of more then one fabric (i.e. synthetic or blends). according to Lev.24:10-16 id be able to stone them to death right then and there.

funny how the whackos pick and choose what they want to follow and regard as “law”.
