Okay, this is totally different from the other illustrious people on this list, but a good friend of mine at my old parish wrote about her conversion story. It’s called Insomnia: My Wake-Up Call, by Bev Diemler. She talks about her journey from an athiest to a Catholic. Obviously, since I know her and witnessed the Holy Spirit working through her in so many ways, I found it fascinating…but if nothing else, it’s a slim volume to get through. Very straight forward and simple. God bless!

“Saint Joan of Arc, by Herself and Her Witnesses,” by Regine Pernoud. I just finished this book–is all from accounts by eye-witnesses. Some say this is the best book about this saint.
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned several great classics in this area here yet–Saint Teresa’s of Avila’s autobiography, and the '‘Life of St. Catherine of Siena,’" by Raymond of Capua, who was her confessor.
