In response to some media sources maintaining that some U.S. bishops do not support the lawsuits filed against the Obama mandate, media sources which name himself in particular, California Bishop Blaire explains that, instead, he fully supports these lawsuits. Some liberal commentators also have stressed that only some dioceses have filed lawsuits, but as this report explains, the intention among the bishops was never for every diocese to file a lawsuit.
