It isn’t.

People actually “walk out” with the Host all the time.

They are normally taking the Host to the sick.

Desecrating the Host, now that is a different story.
 
Given the article is by Church Militant, don’t over react to it

There’s probably more to the story than what they’re telling

Churchmilitant always seems to try to stir the pot. Instead of this, they should be working to bring people together.
 
There is no money in that.
Cater to the fringes, give them a voice, and the money will roll in.

If it self-destructs, then the Bible is worthless, because it will mean that Jesus’s promise to St. Peter will have been broken.

So we either believe the Promise, or our faith is built on sand. It doesn’t mean of course that the Church will not know tribulations, but we need not worry about it ceasing to exist.

So if the Church were to follow Christ in His steps to calvary…be betrayed, stripped of her temporal garments, rejected and condemned by the world do you think your faith would be in jeopardy. I tend to think the bride will be adorned through suffering.So that when it appears to many that all is lost our Lord will return and raise her in splendor. Not my opinion per se but something I consider at times.
 
I think the Church will have to endure great suffering. She is as I write this. Reduced to mockery by the intelligentsia of the day, which is clearly happening. Her voice practically extinguished in the social realm. This is now as well.

But that she will self-destruct? That is impossible, if the Bible is true.
 
What about those days when Jesus was in the tomb. How his disciples must have felt. I dont mean self destruct- I mean crucified (metaphorically). Anyone know whether the book of Revelation prophesies that the sacrifice of the Mass will cease for some number of days?
 
Great suffering is what happened in Sri Lanka not mockery by the intelligentsia.
