I live in San Francisco so as you can imagine I have been waiting for this announcement with some anticipation. I’m glad to hear that Archbishop Niederauer is a good man. I guess I would feel even better if you could tell me that he is a traditional church man. Do you have any thoughts on that subject?

I just heard this morning that Bishop George Niederauer is going to be the Archbishop of San Francisco.

He’s a wonderful man and I’m really going to miss him. But the people in San Francisco are very lucky to be getting him! Take good care of him.
