Finally, here is the new report compiled from IRS Form 990 filed by CRS that gave $64M (86% of domestic grants) to groups that subvert Catholic moral teaching. The report is well done and easy to read.
The USCCB Administrative Committee comprised of 43 bishops (none of whom have been named per the link in the previous post directly above) have now all received a copy of this report as well as every bishop in the U.S. An anonymous *group *statement is hardly effective in this praise since to my knowledge, no one single bishop has spoken out to condon the funding to these organizations:

I read the pope’s apostolic letter that states that charities should refuse partnerships that even indirectly support acts opposed to the faith. The collection for CRS is not taken up in our parish anymore. Even the rice bowl money is now given to an alternative international relief agency because CRS is often just a middleman who gives our money to secular organizations whose principles and methods are opposed to the Church.
I look at the facts and decide accordingly – ALL and HLI (among other pro-life groups) is not “speaking for the Church” - they are researching where (and how) these “social justice” groups are spending the money (which, despite the specious argument of CRS that the $$ is not fungible, it nonetheless always is, and supports the entire program of these agencies.) One of the goals of some of these organizations is population control. CARE, for instance, the group that received over $5M from CRS, bragged on their webpage at one time that educating women to their right to “reproductive health” is a “cornerstone” of their development strategies. Their solution to helping the poor seems to be not to allow them to be born at all. Incidentally, these groups supporting the culture of death have never denied that they are doing so. They cannot deny it because their actions and works and the resulting consequences have proven otherwise.

We have bishops to guide us, too. The USCCB are more informed than most of us on what the truth of this matter is. It is possible that some individual bishops have not had the time to study these accusations in depth but were influenced by the attacks against CRS. I, also, have discontinued my monthly contribution because of the continuous attacks against CRS. But what our Holy Father Pope Francis has reminded us about gossip is important, too. He said that gossip is a form of murder. How many people have discontinued their support to CRS because of the negative reporting of an organization that is trying to destroy it and the gossip that is spread on internet discussion boards? Thanks for linking this. It is good to see what the Church really is saying with all the disinformation from secular news services and independent organizations that drive on a single agenda. The CRS has a tough job and no doubt there are individuals who have violated Catholic moral teaching. That is why it is important that Catholic agencies like CRS have episcopal oversight and the people support such agencies that have this oversight.Here is the official statement:
